If Facebook added it there recently, then yes. The option in the plus removes advertising in the news feed (for I have never seen it anywhere else). If you are showing somewhere else - send me a link to this place and a screenshot with an example of displaying advertising, I will try to remove it.

sfilmak, good afternoon, in the latest version with GP there is such a bug. If you exit the application and launch it on a new one, the standard FB site design is loaded first, and only if you press the back button on the phone, the site design from Macs appears with a floating button and a color theme.

P.S. I found out that this happens when the energy conservation mode is on.

There are still two suggestions for improvement:

1. Make a function - posts with borders and shadows, for readability, as it is implemented inMetal pro.

2. When choosing the display function of the navigation bar at the top. When scrolling completely hide the panel, as is now implemented when displaying the navigation bar below.

The question is not in closing the application, but in the launch. In screenshot 1, the launch is done from scratch, if you press the back button on the phone, the application does not close, but goes to the full Mac interface (screenshot 2).

Yes, such a function with switching is implemented in the program.Swipe pro. It is called "Swipe in Material Design".

It seems that no one is using Instagram for Macs. Otherwise it is difficult to explain the lack of criticism about his work.
It is clear that Instagram in Macs is, in fact, a web version of Instagram with its inherent basic functionality. But even this basic functionality in Macs works with additional restrictions. The only obvious advantage of Instagram in Macs is to support themes. Further disadvantages begin:
1. Despite the permission to work with the camera, given to Macs, it does not work on Instagram. You can publish only the finished content stored on the device. In the browser with the same resolution, there is a choice: use the camera or select ready-made content.
2. In the browser, you can add geodata to the publication by granting it permission. Macs with the permission granted behaves as if it were not provided, i.e. does not want to add any geodata.
3. It is impossible to adjust the size of stickers in stories with two fingers and tilt them. Everything works in the browser.
4. It is impossible to change the color of the inscription made in the stories, although there are buttons for choosing colors on the screen. Everything works in the browser.
So today Instagram is more convenient to use in the browser than in Macs. It's a pity. :(
