Poor GPS. Near the window catches 3-4 satellites and then they constantly fall off. A few days I read forums and sites. Tips, mainly for MTK processors.
In the engineering menu, the GPS config and AGPS LOG show items are not active. In the data / etc folder there is no gps.conf file to check with which server it connects and rewrite data. No EPO file found either.
Maybe someone knows how to improve the signal quality of GPS satellites so that the signal does not fall off? Thank!

In the engineering menu GPS in the first AGPS tab, almost at the very bottom, the coordinates of Shanghai are shown in Latitude (Latitude) and Longitude (Longitude) points by default. When I entered the coordinates of my city, instead of three satellites, the tablet caught four.
Changing the server in the SLP TEMPLATE does not give the proper result. Some servers do not allow to connect with more than two satellites. Left the server from Nokia, although you can go to the server and Google.
Throwing the gsm.conf file into the system / data / etc folder and using the program to update the gsm GPS Updater almanac, on the contrary, slow down the search for satellites.

It seems that this GPS module catches only one type of satellites, or in this tablet, the GPS function is only for a tick.

Solution for useless GPS connection found. At least, Navitel Navigator finds a location without problems. Maps Me is more demanding on signal quality.
1. If you chemically navigate something, my advice to you is to make a hard reset.
2. Go to Settings in the "Time" menu. Uncheck the "Network time zone". Expose your belt and time. Put back a tick in the "network time zone"
3. Turn on the Internet.
4. Download the program "GPS Updater" from the Market. Run it. It will update the GPS almanac, as there is no EPO file in our tablet.
5. In the settings, turn on the GPS and everything that is involved there.
More internet we do not need.
6. We go to a clean field, it is desirable that there are no trees, etc.
7. Enter the GPS engineering menu * # * # 2266 # * # *
The AGPS tab down in Latitude and Longitude sets the latitude and longitude of your locale.
