Personally, the functionality is important to me, and that everything works flawlessly. I see no reason to dump somewhere with the same official 8-ki.
Until December, I generally sat on the Z1 (already from 2013) on the official 5.1.1. So what? Everything worked great, and any modern software.

And every day, constantly rearranging something, testing different rotten "underdevelopments" on strange kernels ... with the loss of a heap of functionality (including vendor features) ... well, I don’t know ... for what?
For me, even restarting the phone is a big event. This happens sometimes even every six months, although I use it to the fullest (mainly network services and music).
