This monument was erected in the homeland of this great writer, in my native Taganrog :)
The monument itself was erected in 1960, in January (if memory serves, the 29th) in honor of the centenary anniversary of the birth of Anton Pavlovich. This summer it was restored (to the upcoming anniversary of the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth, which will be celebrated in our city in 2010), and now it looks like this:

There is such a place ... Everything is overgrown, people practically do not exist. As with the perspective do not play, everywhere the branches and leaves. I plan on a ride in those places in the late autumn again ... When there will be no leaves.

Well, there is a lot of noise, because removed from hands at f / 16 I had to set the maximum sensitivity .. I tried to show in this picture not the monument itself, but a definite contrast, it can be called a contrast "between the old and the new" .. For me, the inscriptions on the monument were not so important therefore, in order to make the noise not such a replacement, I had to sacrifice the size ..

If you take it wider, then extra objects that somehow were not at all useful came into the field of view of the lens.
The monument is located in Moscow, the metro station Semenovskaya, at the entrance to the business center (? I don’t know exactly the name of this building) ...
