I honestly don’t remember where the archive is being downloaded (not exactly to the folder but just for memory, signed uptade), I remember that the archive is swinging first, after that the program suggests installing the archive. So you do not need to install the archive, you need to connect the body to the computer and drop the archive on the computer, after that you can update!

As far as I remember, the problem arises only because of a malfunction of the sections of the SD card, and so in TWRP, you can choose a drive or an internal or SD card, but if you select a drive, the SD card does not appear to mean that there is a problem with the SD card, maybe not even a hardware software!
