Android Chess
Chess - a board game for two players. The game occurs on a square board made of 64 small squares, with eight squares on each side. Each player begins with sixteen figures: eight pawns, two horses, two elephants, two rooks, one queen and one king. The purpose of the game is to try to put the opponent’s king to the mat. If the player king is under Shah and the player does not have a single move that allows this shah to eliminate, this player is called the Mat, and his opponent to the mate.

The game consists in the fact that the players alternately make moves. White makes the first move. With the exception of taking on the aisle and castling, described below, the move is that the player moves one of his pieces to another field according to the following rules:

The figures, except for the knight, are considered to be moving in a straight line in the plane of the board, that is, “passing” all the fields between the initial and final, therefore all these fields must be free. If another figure is on the way of the figure, then it is impossible to move the figure to the field behind it. The exception is the knight's move (see below).
The move on the field, busy with his figure, is impossible.
When the course on the field, occupied by an alien figure, it is removed from the board (capture).
The king moves a distance of 1 vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
The queen moves to any distance vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
The rook goes to any distance vertically or horizontally.
An elephant walks any distance diagonally.
A horse walks on the field at a distance of 2 vertically and 1 horizontally or 1 vertically and 2 horizontally from the current position. Unlike all other chess pieces, the knight's move is made outside the plane of the board, that is, the knight directly moves (“jumps”) from the starting field to the final one and no pieces standing in other fields can prevent the knight's move. In particular, a horse can walk on the field, even if it is completely surrounded by his or others' figures.
The pawn walks diagonally with one field forward-right or forward, and without taking-vertically for one field ahead. If the pawn in this party has not yet made moves, she can make a move without taking two fields forward. The direction “forward” is called the direction to the eighth horizontal for white or to the first for black. When the pawn goes to the last horizontal (for white - on the eighth, for black - with the first), the walking should replace it with any other figure of the same color except the king (transformation of the pawn). The transformation of the pawn is part of the course with which it moves to the last horizontal. Thus, if, for example, a figure turned from a pawn threatens the enemy king, then this king as a result of a pawn course to the last horizontal immediately finds himself under a shah.

Chess is popular and often played in competitions called chess tournaments. He enjoyed in many countries, and is a national hobby in Russia.
