Notebook for demanding junior | MacOS VS Windows 10

Rep: (50)
Good day. I thought about buying a laptop for myself. The experience of owning these is small - Asus N56VV and its manual upgrade. What do I want from a horse?

1. High-quality IPS screen, resolution not less than FHD, diagonal from 13 ".
2. Keyboard backlighting - I often work at night or at dusk.
3. Iron relevant for 2016 for the tasks: viewing content in 1080p and more both on the screen and via HDMI on a 50 "TV; work with texts, work with music / photos at a low lvl level; AutoCAD; modern games on the average high from 30FPS.
4. I trust Asus and Apple, but their prices are bitten for ... well, you understand. Are there alternatives that are not worse in quality?
5. Autonomy more or less, weight - so that hands do not fall off, do not care for dimensions.
6. OS does not matter, I will get used to everything.

I ask to distribute options taking into account two parameters:
A - the priority of the game and multimedia
B - compactness priority, autonomy + PS4} -)

The budget is limited by reasonable frames - for a laptop laptop up to 70k, MAC - up to 13 "firmware with 256 SSD.
Thank you all in advance!

* Kalter93,
services like playkey will arrange?

Rep: (50)
* M.E.S,
For the backup option B - yes, quite. For option A - no, because Internet access will be through the distribution on the smartphone 80% of the time. In general, is it worth bothering now with a laptop for gaming? I am considering the option of buying a set-top box and a decent workhorse-laptop separately. In this case, the last one will have a maximum of the last one and some toys of 2010-2015.

* Kalter93,
for 70k gaming laptop with ips not buy. As for me, the best option would be to wait a bit - in the 20s, Apple should present new 13 "and 15" Macs, and in another couple of months ps4 with improved hardware will be released.

* M.E.S,
So I will wait for them. If something does not suit, I will return to the good old tubesavagemessiahzine.com.

You can play quietly in demanding games and without downloading or installing
Alas, the playkay rolled down, both in price and in terms of time. Plus, there are few servers, and the speed is constantly jumping - in short, now I would not recommend it.

* Kalter93,
1. Compactness and battery life - the 13th bug. She was already close to my 11th airy in size. And on autonomy to the 13th Air. But alas, there is no usb - for me the big disadvantage is in the laptop.
2. Games - whichever. Gaming laptop is no longer compact and is needed to work from the outlet. Play no screen less than 17 inches - do not spare your eyes.
3. Combine such different needs can be only one way - take iPad Pro 10.5 or 12.9. There you and compactness (10.5), and games, and good autonomy. For simple office work, the most. For example, I thought to take 13 pro, but taking into account the tasks and functionality I took about 10.5 - for my tasks the most. Access to Windows programs through Parallels Access is very convenient. With a keyboard by weight, of course, almost MacBook 12, but but much more autonomously and compact. And the 11th Eir left for field conditions without the Internet.

Hello. Tell me please, I want to buy myself a macbook about 13 2017. But I can't figure out if I need 16 GB of RAM or not. In Windows 8, I clearly do not have enough, especially when I turn on the virtual. Immediately I am going to use it for work as a devops and periodically turn on the Windows on the virtual machine (I will give 4 GB for it) in order for the code to work in visual studio periodically.
How proportionally the RAM is used in Windows and Mac?

Well, your task 8 is enough, but very much to the edge, so if you have the opportunity to take 16, then take it.

Thanks for the answer. I, too, am inclined to this.
And you can also say how much he really holds the battery? My friend has a 15th stitch in 2017 in max, so he charges about 1 time every two days and uses about as much as I am going to.

Well, for 5-7 hours with mixed mode with Coda, Ps / Ai and the virtual machine it keeps, although I had 2016.
It all depends on the work of the software.

If not the budget, then the Dell XPS IMHO fits very well

Good day!

I ask for help, although it can certainly not the right address.
I'm learning 3D modeling, but the old laptop does not take out, it slows down terribly, for the old one. Please advise which laptops are normal for working with 3D? I work in 3D Max. For any advice I will be grateful: thank_you:
