User information on the column

- From the factory, the column comes with firmware 3.9, when updating the firmware to a newer firmware, keep in mind that further rollback to firmware 3.9 will not be possible, since there is no access to the firmware file 3.9. Upgrading or rolling back between other firmware versions is possible, except for version 3.9!

- The battery level shows when the speaker is turned on, as well as when adjusting the volume directly with the buttons on the column itself.

- Auto speaker off occurs approximately 20 minutes after the loss of the Bluetooth signal.

- Passive speakers at the ends of the column is preferably NOT TOUCH! They can wipe very easily.

- Do not put the maximum speaker volume, and then the speaker will live longer both in terms of battery and in terms of wear of the speakers themselves.

- The column can be put on its side; for this purpose, special irregularities are provided to divert air pressure.

- Protection against water in the column is really there, but it's better not to dip it under water once more (IMHO)

- Who dipped the column into the water, or water fell and the column began to wheeze, this is normal, since there is water left in the speakers or the radiators themselves, you must wait until it dries.

- For those who disassembled the column (removed only the fabric, mesh, grill) warranty does not affect.

- When using voice assistants, noise is heard, it is possible that the noise level cannot cope. I think this is critical.

- You can extend the battery life and slightly improve the quality if you use AUX.

Combinations of buttons to enable certain modes

Button combinations for JBL Charge 3

- Switching to the next track is possible by double pressing the Play / Pause button

- You can find out what firmware in the column (without the Connect application) by holding down the volume down buttons and the connect button for a few seconds. The column will announce the software version. (on Connect + you need to turn on the sounds!) as well flashes charge indicators for the firmware version.

- Reset to factory settings (hard reset) can be done by holding 3 seconds. buttons "Volume +" and "Play" (useful when you need to clear the table of bluetooth pairs)

- You can turn on low-frequency mode for 10 seconds. “Bluetooth” + “VOLUME-” buttons (turns off the built-in equalizer, compressor, etc., more bass and radiators vibrate more), at a low volume of bass there will be less, and at a higher volume there will be overloads. The column is also turned off or the column is rebooted. When restarting, the normal default mode will be enabled.Attention! Use this mode only at your own peril and risk, nothing is said about it by the manufacturer! This mode can spoil the speakers and subsequently sound, and can also void the warranty.

- Turning on the firmware update mode (DFU), hold down the Connect + buttons and volume + for 10 seconds. To turn off the update mode, connect the speaker to the charge, after the sound, hold down the key combination.How to use this mode is not yet known.
