Something seems to me that this program is undeservedly poorly evaluated by the community. Most likely, this is due to the fact that the author did not clearly describe her capabilities even in her native language, and no one, in general, bothered to translate this description.
I will try to explain on the fingers what it seemed to me to be so interesting.
After launching, the program keeps on the screen border a small translucent icon that hangs over any running applications, but does not interfere with anything. It can stick to any place on the right or left, and you can even remove.
Using this icon, you can select any rectangular part of the screen of the currently active application and either save it as a picture, send it in any standard way, or search for a similar image on the web. Little of! If the selected fragment contains the text, the program will try to recognize it (understand, and not bad, at the same time 3 languages from a rather large list) and it can be immediately sent to an online translation, or, again, to a search. Yes! I must say that everyone can choose the search engine for themselves in the settings.
This same icon can be used to call any other application without closing the current application, choosing it from the list of frequently used, or from a custom favorite list, or from the full list of applications.
Already these features were enough for me to include fooView in my MustHave list, and there is still a good file manager, a graphical viewer, my own browser with the ability to run in the window and "handwriting launcher" (I don’t know how to even call this feature :-)) .
And all this is very fast, smoothly, and without a noticeable zhora of resources ...
