Yes, there are two models on the 8740 newer, I have it.
In total there are 3 models: 700, 770C and New770C, all three differ in DAC, amplifiers and filters, screen and the presence of a linear output.
770 differs from New770C - filters and amplifiers, the screen and the presence of a linear output
770C differs from New770C - DAC, amplifiers and filters
That is, the New770C is an improved 770 model, while the 770C (first edition) is an intermediate version.

I ordered this player, I hope it will please me more than mx4 pro. I'm going to listen mostly flac 16 / 44.1, there is a bit of 24/96. I hope not have to convert!

xduoo x3 at least there are no software shoals jambs and it normally pulls up.
770c highres packed just does not play, only Vav.
