Hello. Recently found a way to replace the starting logo on TVs with 6 Android Mstar processor (MSD6A938) - it works exactly. On the other series, you need to check the path to the folder with the picture. But the mboot commands are the same.
The logo itself is called boot0.jpg
Located in the tvconfig / folder
How to replace:
Requires connection to uart or usb3.0-uart and a terminal on a computer.
1. Put with the replacement of the desired image in the folder tvconfig /
2. Set the rights rw-r-r
3. Reboot the device in mboot
4. Enter on the terminal command line (after each line enter)

setenv db_table 0
saveenv
reset

The device will reboot with a new picture.
Note. Before replacing the picture, check the properties of the original. Basically - the size of the image. Weight eats almost any.
Suddenly someone come in handy.

Description

Any romodel to communicate with Lenovo devices uses special tools QFIL and QPST, written for the Windows operating system.
Therefore, the contents of the firmware would be more logical, i.e. Separate images (boot, recovery, system, etc.) can also be processed under Windows.
For this, I created the LenovoWinTools tool.

Requirements

availability of .NET 4.0 package;

Opportunities

1) process the firmware image for Qualcomm .qsb type:
- disassemble it;
- Add piecewise firmware files (system, cache, preloader, persist, userdata);
- list the contents of the firmware without disassembling it;
- print the markup memory (GPT file).
2) process Boot.img / Recovery.img images:
- unpack and pack, taking into account section second and the devtree device tree;
- unpack the device tree;
- processed images using compression:
gzip;
lzma;
lzop;
lz4;
xz.
3) unpack and pack images containing ext2-ext4 file systems;
4) convert sparse sparse file to ext4 image;
5) process the splash.img file.
