Instructions

Installing custom firmware

Preparation for firmware:
Download the desired firmware.
Copy the necessary zip-archives to the memory card: firmware (for example CM12.1) and addition (Google Apps, tweaks ...).
Boot into recovery (how to install the recovery is written inFAQ). When you turn on the tablet, hold down the volume (+) and key (ON). Press simultaneously and hold until recovery appears. Next, select the recovery item and confirm

In the recovery menu:
Select the Backup item (this will allow you to make a full backup of the tablet and save it to a memory card), return to the main menu.
Select the Wipe (factory reset) item, then return to the main menu.
Go to Install and select the firmware from the memory card, go back and install Google Apps in the same way.
After the installation is complete, go back to the TWRP main menu and select the Reboot item.

Instructions for firmware via Flash Tool

ATTENTION: DO NOT CLICK "FORMAT" in the Flash Tool. When formatting, you will lose your IMEI number & MAC address of WIFI.
1. Download and install drivers for firmware.
2. Download the required firmware in the format for the SP Flash Tool and unpack the archive with the folder target_bin. On the way to the firmware should not be Russian Chinese and other non-Latin characters!
3. Download and unpack the program SP Flash Tool. On the way to the program there should not be Russian Chinese and other non-Latin characters!
4. Run Flash_tool.exe, press the Scatter-loading button and select MT65xx_Android_scatter_emmc.txt (xx is 75, 77 or 89 and depends on the processor of your device) from the folder with the firmware
5. Be sure to tick DA DL All With Check Sum (otherwise get a "semi-brick") !!!
6. Check the modes in the Options menu, there should be a check mark in USB Mode and DA Download All
7. Click the Firmware-Upgrade button.
8. Connect the disabled tablet
9. If everything is correct, then the colored status bars will “run through” and a green circle will appear, informing you of the success of the operation.
10. Turn off the tablet, use.

I installed the firmware CM 12.1 from zip117. The firmware was launched, after that it installed first through Dolby recovery, and then a patch to the sound. As a result, the stereo works, I personally do not hear the hiss, but according to my subjective feelings, the sound is slightly worse than in the stock firmware. In general, I also have CM 12.1 installed on my smartphone and the sound is also worse there than in the factory firmware. So I think you should not wait in the cyanogen of the same sound as in the stock firmware ... In the future, I will try to install viper4android, maybe with its help the sound will be better.
About the screen - I did not notice the difference at all.
As for the firmware bugs: 1) files from the network are not saved directly to the USB flash drive, SDfix had to be installed, 2) the tablet charge became noticeably slower.
I can't judge for the moment when I use energy.
