I tried to build a kernel, stumbled upon this error:

I put the QT4 package on fine - but it still did not work, I found the package libqt4-dev - I decided to install it, issued this:

Packages with unsatisfied dependencies:
unity-control-center: Depends on: libcheese-gtk23 (>= 3.4.0) but it will not be installed
Depends: libcheese7 (>= 3.0.1) but it will not be installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver :: Resolve generated damaged packages. This may be due to held packets.

2 days struggled with this problem, still decided - this is the solution:

• sudo aptitude remove libcheese-gtk23
• sudo aptitude remove libcheese7

Well, then just put the two packages again qt4-qmake, libqt4-dev.

The error was on the Linux axis Ubuntu 14.04

Nope, I tried it in the summer, what is odd - the kernel firmwares are NOT COMPRESSED, but if I collect one pure kernel, it will squeeze into some gz as a result, after which it will not even start. Fully android did not collect, the iron is rather weak, it will take a lot of time. I also advise you to assemble along with the u-boot, it controls all inconsistencies and does not start the kernel in that case.
