TWRP 3.0.2 Highscreen Power Ice download

About version
Recovery collected on the basis of the Android 5.1 firmware kernel version Power Ice_0203_V5171 / Mon Dec 21 22:22:34 CST 2015

Download
Installation and first launch
Recovery is distributed as a recovery.img image and can be installed in various ways (for example, installing an image from custom recovery or firmware from fastboot mode).

If you have not previously installed TWRP, when you first start the recovery, it asks "Should the system partition be read-only?", As shown in this screenshot:
Attached Image

Here tick the checkbox "Never show this screen again" (Never show this screen ...) and confirm with a swipe. Do not press the "KEEP READ ONLY" button.
Getting ROOT
ATTENTION!!For security, be sure to backup the / system and / data partitions before this operation.

If a root is not installed on your system, TWRP Recovery determines this automatically and suggests installing SuperSU when you exit it. You can choose the installation option and thus get root rights in the system.
Acknowledgments
mefin2Thanks for testing the recovery.

Updates by air will not be possible after installation according to the instructions and receiving the root? Can I post an image of a stock kernel, so that there is a possibility of a rollback?

Stock firmware in the cap

IMG is sewn faster and, IMHO, it is more convenient than sewing FLASH-TOOL one core from the whole firmware.

Instructions for installing TWRP and Root access using a PC on Windows.

TWRP itself: Highscreen Power Ice - Discussion (Post by jemmini # 46780512)

Drivers, software

1. The driver is already on your phone! We connect it to the computer, a CD appears, open it and run auto.exe. After the installation is complete - restart the PC.

Attached Image

2. SP Flash Tool - we take hereSP_Flash_Tool is the flash driver for MTK smartphones.(Spoiler Drivers, software, utilities (current versions)) and unpack it into a folder on C: \ DISK

Phone preparation

Go to the settings of the smartphone in the menu item "Security" and put a daw on "Unknown sources."
Go to the settings of the smartphone in the menu item "About phone" and repeatedly tap on the "build number" and as you see the inscription "you become a developer" go to the menu and go to the new activated menu item "for developers", there you check the "debug by Usb.

Installing TWRP and obtaining Root access (it is already built into TWRP)

1. The file MT6735_Android_scatter.zip from the attachment is downloaded and unpacked MT6735_Android_scatter.txt from it into the folder with the SP Flash Tool.

2. Download recovery.img from the link at the beginning of the post and also upload it to the folder with the SP Flash Tool.

3. The phone should be disconnected from the PC and turned off.

4. Run flash_tool.exe. Go to Options ->download put daws in front of all 2 points.

5. Select the scatter file MT6735_Android_scatter.txt, remove all the checkboxes except the RECOVERY item, make sure that download only mode and click Download, connect the smartphone in the off state and wait for the operation to finish (a window will pop up).
Everything should look like in the screenshot:
Attached Image

!! Next, you must immediately boot into the recovery (simultaneously hold down the power button and volume +), if the smartphone boots into the firmware, the custom recovery will fly off and you will have to repeat everything from the beginning.

6. Follow the instructions from the post with the recovery, then click Reboot in it, you will be prompted to install Ruth, agree. The phone will reboot, SuperSU will appear among the programs.

7. Now the phone has a custom TWRP recovery and root =)

Many thanks to the usercloccfrom the Power Five branch (Highscreen Power Five - Official firmware (Post clocc # 44209332)for the original instructions.

You should always backup NVRAM (IMEI) !! There, in addition to IMEI, a lot of things are spoiled. Here is the easiest way to recover (just have the truth)

Comrades, poured onIndexDisk archive in which:

1. Normally installed drivers (from the phone itself), and not that ... oh, which is at the office. site (if you install it, you need to disable the electronic signature of drivers);
2. Official firmware with a scatter file for our device, or rather, for our processor 6735;
3. TWRP worker recovery from the header;
4. SP Flash Tool latest version (5.1548, for windows).

According to the structure:

You download the file "SP_Flash_Tool_Win_v5.1548", unzip it, get a folder with the SP Flash Tool in which there is a folder "files", and in it Drivers (drivers), "Firmware" (firmware, in it is the scatter file), separately scatter- file and recovery TWRP.

What for it all together? I have already managed to turn my phone around, with this set I managed to return everything to full circle with a minimum of time.

Replacing stock butanimation and download sound.

Warning: the presence of direct hands is welcome, all responsibility falls on you.
In general, I warned.

Required
- root access
- the installed root explorer program (or any of its analogue. rootexplorer issavagemessiahzine.com)
- a file with butanimation with a screen resolution for our device (1280x720).
You can play with others, but it will be incorrect to display, most likely

According to the link, I attached an archive with animations that I keep for myself in case of decorations.
WatchHERE

- ONCE AGAIN: DIRECT HANDS ARE REQUIRED AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE DO.

0. Find the archive we need with bootanimation.
The forum has a whole topic, (watchHERE). The screen resolution of this phone is 1280x720 pixels.
If you downloaded my archive from the link above, you should remember that those zip-files in the archive that you want to install into your phone,
Before copying, you need to rename it to "bootanimation.zip" (without quotes). At one time in the phone can be installed
Only ONE butanimation (well, I think it's clear, why)
If you simply copy the archive with the name it is, then the animation will not start.
1. Pre-copy the resulting bootanimation.zip file to the phone’s memory or to an external memory card.
The file is copied "as is", without changing anything or removing it from the archive.IT IS IMPORTANT!
2. Run root explorer on our device
3. We are looking for a section (or folder, if you want), with the name - storage - go to it.
Depending on where you saved the file with butanimation - choose either sdcard0 (external card) or sdcard1 (phone’s internal memory)
A long tap on the animation file and select the item "copy" or "copy", with a line at the bottom with the ability to paste the copied file
4. We go to the root of the folders and look for the section (folder) system, in it we find the section (folder) media
And we see there a file with the same name bootanimation.zip, like the one we copied.
This is the original out-of-box animation file.
IMPORTANT: just above the folder names and below the current path there is a small "Mount R / W" button - PRESS IT.
This will allow us to make changes to the folder and file structure (initially read-only mode)
5. Long tap on the file we found. RENAME / "RENAME" file (for example, in "bootanimation1.zip").
This item is performed to preserve the original animation - you never know what.
ONCE AGAIN: If you simply replace the original file by copying, you will lose the stock animation!
6. Now at the bottom click "paste" and copy our file.
In order for our animation to be read by the system correctlyMANDATORYperform paragraph 7
7. Change the file permissions.
Tap on our copied file (long tap) and select "Permissions / Permissions"
We remove / tick the necessary items (screenshots are attached below).
Result - rights of the form 0644 | rw-r - r--
8. Close the root explorer. Reboot and enjoy the new animation.

By sound. Next to the bootanimation file, you can see the bootaudio.mp3 file
This is our boot melody. It is clear that it can also be changed by the algorithm,
which I cited above. Restrictions for sure there are on the size of the mp3 file, so do not take too
big ones.
Do not forget about file permissions. They are the same 0644
The file name is also required: bootaudio.mp3 and no other

Actually, I assume that the phone also has a shutdown animation and a shutdown sound,
just did not add them - until I checked

* Notes:
- the initial starting picture with the company's logo - will remain unchanged - this is not the boot animation - this is the logo.
- in the folder "media" - contains other system sounds / ringtones / alarms - you can add your own, if
there is no interest to produce folders on the memory card or delete them - if the system sounds are not interesting, going out of the box

Once again: BE ATTENTIVE WHEN WORKING WITH RUTEXPLERER
