1. Apparently yes, I don’t have a monopod, but judging by the information from the Sony website, there are no buttons.
2. Large and original. From inexpensive I have Chinese (but original) OV 32Gb, Kingston 64Gb, SanDisk 32 Gb, more expensive American SanDisk 64Gb. Everything works fine.

The smoothness is almost the same, which is 50, that 60 frames, not to notice, but there are subtleties.
50 frames: the lamps will not flicker (because we have 50 Hz in the socket), but there is a mismatch with the typical monitor frequency (60), which will lead to artifacts during playback.
With 60 frames, the opposite is true.

Personally, my choice is 60 (NTSC), because I watch all the videos on the computer.

Would not the difference in amperes be critical for the battery?

A 5 volt Li-ion battery is unlikely. Batteries in Sony at 3.6 volts.
On my travel charging input is 5V 0.9A, and the output (what you should look at first) 4.2V 0.86A
I would not experiment in this direction, there is a chance to spoil the battery, up to the fire.

For a long time I used GoPro 3 + Ba, then I sold it and took GoPro 4 Silver from behind the screen. But I was constantly visited by the thought that something was wrong with the picture ... which was somehow unclear and not as clear as we would like. As a result, Sony AS200VB was sold and bought. Plus, when we purchased the AS200V, we had a special offer in the store that they give a SONY AKA-LU1 flip-screen case as a gift.
In the end, I got a CHICKEN kit with all the fixings that I just need + YOURSELF cover with a screen! The picture makes me very happy, much better than on the GoPro + stabilizer and great sound!
