okouser, No, I'm talking about that and I'm trying to say that I encrypt / DATA
honestically agencyThe key, but access to this key is carried out on the basis of a user password and some other parameters that know the device (in particular the salt), maybe I expressed incorrectly?
While I climbed to read about encryption in Android I will try to portray the chain so:
The first turning on the device ->
Somewhere inside the key is generated, salt and possibly some other internal parameters ->
Files that fall into / DATA are encrypted by this key (for complete - all / DATA is encrypted) ->
The key is encrypted by a password by default using salt and is placed in the place specifically reserved to him ->
The user is offered to configure the device and set the password (if lucky depends on the vendor / device) ->
If the password is set - to steer the generated key using the salt and password of the user, and put in place (otherwise do nothing)
