Software Update
If your camera has software version 1.2 or earlier, then first of all update the GIT2LD.bin bootloader (Loader_for_old_firmwares.zip).
If you have installed software 1.3, then there is no need to update the bootloader and you can safely skip points # 3 - # 6
Starting with software version 1.4, the firmware file will be automatically deleted from the Micro SD card after the update is completed.

1. Use maximum capacity cards up to 32GB formatted in a camera or computer in FAT32
2. Insert the card into the camera and connect to the computer via usb cable.
3. Copy the file GIT2LD.bin to the root of the map
4. After copying the GIT2LD.bin file to the card, disconnect the camera from the computer.
5. Reconnect the camera to the computer and wait a few seconds until you can select Mass Storage in the camera menu.
6. Delete the GIT2LD.bin file from the card through the computer and
7. Copy the file GIT2FW.bin to the root of the map
8. Disconnect and reconnect the camera to the computer and wait a few seconds until you can select Mass Storage in the camera menu. The indicators on the front and back panel will blink green and red during the update.
9. Now you can disconnect the camera from the computer and enjoy the new features of GitUp

* den-gt-apple , Yes. In the video settings, if not mistaken. There is a camera icon and a photo interval selection. I can’t say more precisely, the camera is not nearby

* den-gt-apple , there is a time-lapse function, makes frames every 200 ms, once a second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, once a minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. Then, if it is turned on in video mode, it sticks everything together into one video, and in photo mode it’s just a folder with photos and to stick together

Which box is better to buy for our camera? Native, after the first swimming in the sea, rusted (buttons) .. does not look beautiful,

just for general information I share my problem:
in the third year of infrequent operation in the native aquabox, the button springs rusted, as a result, the aquabox buttons did not return to the back and completely locked position, they began to let water through.
The consequences are appropriate - water got into the camera, there are traces of oxides on the board, when the camera is turned on, wifi turns on automatically (despite the fact that wifi auto-off is disabled in the settings).
If you enable wifi auto power on in the settings, then when you turn on the camera, wifi turns on for a couple of seconds and turns off, so you can still use it as a DVR.

Everything is OK, a bug in the standard firmware for this video resolution (1296p30) - use a different resolution or try a modified firmware.

* hc_1982,
but you can’t tell, in the photo mode, is it possible to make a zoom like in the video mode? remove at least a little fish eye

as far as I remember, in the standard firmware there was no such function. It seems like such an opportunity, as well as a motion detector for the photo mode, the manufacturer added to more recent firmware, but they are not publicly available at the moment. Honestly, there isn’t much sense in this zoom, since there will simply be a crop from the center of the image with stretching to the original size of the photo. You can do the same in any photo editor yourself.

Tell me. How to download a photo from a camera to a phone via FINAL CAM? I figured out the video.
