Hello everyone, I’ve been the owner for more than a year now, I’m throwing my review from Yandex, suddenly someone is interested in:
Feedback from Yandex
Advantages:
1. IPS matrix, for which I took a laptop, just super
2. Transformer, can be used as a tablet if needed
3. Good audio, in my ear
4. Lightweight, stylish, small
5. Convenient island-style keyboard
6. Wide touchpad
7. Like iron, but plastic
Disadvantages:
In the area of the keyboard, the plastic bends, apparently too thin and not fixed anywhere, clearly not critical because The key travel is excellent.
Not quite a drawback, instead of having a 500Gb HDD, you should have at least 128 SSDs, but then depending on which side you look
Update:
1) A year later, plastic showed that it is very easy to scratch and rub, but this is only an aesthetic problem.
2) In addition, the touchpad is not the best, it catches glitches and the mouse twitches, just enter sleep mode and exit it, everything works as it should
3) I caught glitches with the push of buttons (they were only pressed with a shift, then they were pressed in Russian / English only) after switching to 10 nothing bothered me
Comment:
Unsubscribe regarding gaming performance:
CS: GO, everything is at a minimum, native resolution, it is played very comfortably, while there is no lack of grafon, so you can play without problems.
NFS U2, almost everything is at maximum, everything is fast and ok.
Gothic 2, a piece of the window is displayed, albeit in full screen.
HL2, everything is at maximum by default, no problem.
L4D2, everything is at a minimum, but it is played comfortably and does not hurt your eyes, the resolution is native.
Morrowind, you should not set it to maximum, so it's almost excellent, morrowind is like that :)
GTA Vice City, normal flight, all at maximum
Heroes 3, Fallout 2, no problem.
P.S. long first setup at startup, oh this win8.1
Update: changed my opinion on CSGO, for a comfortable game you still need to unscrew the resolution of 640x480, then the FPS is enough for the competition, but this is a problem.
I updated Windows to 10, the functionality increased and became a little more convenient, but a couple of standard functions were transferred to other buttons, otherwise it’s convenient to work, as for games I don’t know :)
If you think about the gaming component, it’s better to take something from the HD series from intel (HD4000 ...) that’s enough for CSGO and Dota, and that’s simple and everyday.
A year later, still happy with the purchase, normal flight :)
Here a couple of problems appeared, I describe:
1) Buttons from time to time stop being pressed, not all, some. The problem is caused by the low quality of the plastic, or rather the lack of the necessary rigidity, the problem is solved by bending it, not strong, but with effort, either edge up or down.
Be careful! 2) Sometimes the touchpad responds incorrectly to touch, I’m flying with a simple press of the power button and entering sleep mode, after a couple of seconds I turn it back on and the touchpad works correctly again.
I can also unsubscribe about battery life, with maximum performance and low backlight I work in an office in the region of 4-5 hours. It is better to include low power consumption for renewal, but everything works slower with me, even pressing buttons.
