The case is very similar to aluminum. After 10-15 minutes of work, the body becomes warmer than the palm of your hand. The cable is always better and more stable than Wi-Fi. Pure "eight" a lot of updates pulls from the Internet. Try switching the auto-update mode from automatic to informing:
control panel - windows update center - setting parameters: "search for updates, but the decision to download and install is made by me".
There is such a feature in Windows updates: if it finds .NET, be sure to install it with a restart, otherwise it will not work properly.
