Platform as a platform, why talk about it? :) Here are the devices - you can see. :)

Although what is written on Wikipedia does not make me very happy.

The structure of this system is based on HTML5 and other web standards.

Why - it is not clear. Noklovskaya Qt as a cross-platform framework was much better. The fact that it was never brought to full cross-platform is bad, but the idea was differently better than CTML.

Just a little happy list of those who support: Linux Foundation, LiMo Foundation, Intel, Samsung. Upset the lack of this list Nokly.

And so, this is another Linux with its infrastructure. What is inside of it - the end users care little, although, probably, most of what is really important lies there. And from the outside (appearance) nothing is visible yet.

There are few applications so far, but there is a store that is open for developers to add. As soon as the devices are on sale, the store will be opened. You can port applications from bada almost painlessly.

Re-read reviews. The cell module is there, but the SIM does not see the body, probably in the firmware is locked. What for, as always, the question is not interesting to anyone.
I had been feeding on hopes for a very long time that the tizen would be released for the third wave. Apparently, undivided. Well, that did not buy this device.

What is the third wave? What device?
I would love to insert a sim card and refuted your photo statement, but there is a microsyme.
