What does this App do?
This App shows how your phone storage space has been organized into partitions. Check out the internal and external storage partition structure of your phone and quickly get an idea of ​​how much space is available for your apps. Advanced users can explore mounts, filesystems etc in a very intuitive UI. This app is only a viewer and no changes can be performed on the partitions

Partitions
Android consists of two storage areas - Internal storage and External Storage which are organized into partitions. The Android OS also called the ROM lives on the System Partition (mounted) in the / system folder. The Apps live on the Data Partition in the / data folder and so on. There are other critical partitions which are hidden or unmounted from the user like Recovery, Boot, Bootloader etc. It is of importance to understand that the final space available to the user is determined by the Data partition which itself is a subset of the manufacturer stated specs for total storage space.

Simple Screen
This simple screen just shows the Data, Storage and External Partitions

Mounts Screen
These are the partitions which are normally visible to the user and mounted to various folders. You can customize the list of mounted partitions shown so that only the partitions you are tracking will be shown. Just click the edit button

Advanced Info Screen
The advanced screen will additionally show partitions which are not mounted like recovery, boot etc. Android does not have any functions for getting this data. So this app uses the linux data stored in a number of locations scattered throughout your Android to make a best effort to put this data at your fingertips. Be aware that if a device implements the data differently than the app gets broken. You can view this data manually if you want using terminal emulator but it is tedious. However the results may vary from device to device and this is to be considered as beta. Some of the filesystems may not show correctly. Pie View Screen
