In order to detect this reason, it is necessary to analyze the current consumption of the camera in all modes of its operation with the camera turned off using the circuit (see under the spoiler). That is, turn on, turn off the camera. Turn on turn off Wi-Fi and turn off the camera and so on and so forth. And while looking at the testimony of a multimeter. Perhaps there is a correct combination of manipulations with the keys when the camera is turned off, so that it does not eat current in a dream.

The current reading, when the camera is off, should be zero!

At the same time, you can record the indications of the current consumption of the camera in the simply switched on state, included with Wi-Fi, turned on with video recording without Wi-Fi and enabled with recording video with Wi-Fi. Then compare these readings with those of other similar cameras.

The current consumption can be measured both in the positive circuit (red wire) and in the negative circuit (black wire). It makes no difference.
Wires need a thin section and at the time of testing their stripped ends can be pressed to the contacts, for example, with a strip of adhesive tape, electrical tape or adhesive tape.

Take a tester and measure. It is easy only to knock on the keyboard.
In the case - there are 2 cameras (green with self-discharge per day and white with no self-discharge at all).
White do not care what mode it turned off - there is no self-discharge!
Green discharges even if you first pull out the battery and insert it back after a time, not turning on the camera.
Firmware does not play a role - both at 1.09 30 mbps.
There will be a mood again I will sort the camera and I will take measurements.

Those camera owners who have lost system time after taking the battery out need to remove this battery and measure the residual voltage on it. If it is not discharged, wetting a cotton swab with alcohol, wipe the pads at the place of installation of this battery. If the voltage is less than 1.5 volts on it, replace it, also after cleaning the contacts.
Did you do it?
After you do this, set the date and time, re-check with taking the battery out of the camera for half an hour and an hour and then checking the date and time.
