I will insert my 5 kopecks about the sound! I smoked the forum from the 1st page, not once raised this topic, but apparently NFC is more important than high-quality sound in the headphones;)
So, I have ZenFone2 and Xiaomi Piston 3 headphones. I listen mostly to old school rock, metal, rock ballads. The quality of the tracks is different, but MP3 is not lower than 320 kbps, a lot of things in flac.
So, the optimal quality (volume; juicy bass; loudness, which is enough for 50-60%) I get only on a standard player with a Rock EQ, sliders "Surround sound" and "Bass boost" shifted by 3/4. Be sure to include Asusovsky "improver", and on the "Intellectual mode", and not on the "Music".
He experimented with PowerAmp and JetAudio for a very long time, twisted sliders, changed equalizers, installed plugins, turned on / off the system "enhancer". The sound is generally good, not cardboard, but it does not reach the native player!

I noticed another feature: if you plug in the headphones and listen to the FM radio or a third-party player, then your own one plays wrong. It helps only turning and sometimes rebooting the phone (it happens that the native "Audio Tuning Wizard" does not tune anything at all and any mode sounds the same)

Maybe of course I have a rare disease of the ears (or psyche: D), but I would like to know how someone with sound on the phone?
