Both devices work well with pdf, but judging by the video, the cover glass still reduces the whiteness of Kindle. Surveyors note that the hardware keys for paging the latter are still cool. But Kobo Glo HD is slightly smaller and (almost) half the price.

I ordered an original (ebay) cover from the same seller. Everything turned out $ 200 with a penny. In the evening, pokakat, accomplish your goal. If you’re a little bit different, you can’t get it. However there are some differences. In a kepub,each sentence is wrapped in a span. This is assigned a unique id.The location system uses these ids. If you’re just in the morning, you’re in.

I got my ownKobo glo hd. Prior to that, I had the opportunity to use the Amazon Kindle 4.

The difference is very significant, the fonts on Glo HD are much more pleasant visually than on Kindle 4 (probably, the screen resolution affects). And I must note that the backlight in the reader is NECESSARY (in any case in the room with artificial lighting), the difference with it or without it is simply enormous. Without it, reading is uncomfortable.

Now I understand the settings. If anyone has any advice on the best settings for Glo HD, I’ll be very grateful.
The package CoolReader has already become, got up without any problems. When first turned on, the device itself updated its firmware to the latest version.

Verdict: the device is worth the money, I advise.

my parcel arrived as well. so far there have been no readers, so there is nothing to compare with. in the hand (arm) sits comfortably, the back back of rubber - mast. The reader has updated the firmware over the air, Russian epub books from iBooks, which I had previously read on the iPad, got through Caliber and opened up perfectly. Illumination pleased - uniform, the margin of brightness is crazy.

question to kobovodam:

1. CoolReader - is it for reading different fb2 and others like them?
2. Do you bother with the addition of a Russian dictionary and a Russian keyboard, respectively? Or who needs it, so you know how to do it?
3. The question on "what to store." The display in the off state is not afraid of pressure on it? There is no desire to hide a book in a hard cover, I want to use some felt gizmo a la pocket with a tie. In general, how much is the screen afraid of external factors?
