Interesting machine already appeared insellingandheremodifications on Broadwells (Core i5-5200U, Core i7-5500U with HD5500 graphics) in different configurations (processor .., different RAM, hard disk or ssd), it’s not clear why they attached the 820M in the LD version, it’s better and it would be cheaper without her.
It would be interesting to look at the tests in 3DMarks (6, 11, 2013) of the modification that on Broadwells with the GeForce GT 820M disabled in the Device Manager (it still won’t do the weather).

820 is a video card plug for a socket, which in terms of power does not exceed the installation of Intel HD 4600. In fact, it is equal to 4400, and why it was shoved here is not clear.

damn already the third such machine I buy (at work it was so necessary) two of them fell with the same disease. The battery is dead. that is, it does not charge the battery. I do not advise anyone.

The difference in power between 4400 and 820M is 2.5 times.

As a captain:
1 rearrange firewood
2 repack Windu
After update 8-8.1, there were a lot of glitches

Rep: (0)
But does it make sense to change Windows on the threshold of 10s?
And with firewood, I have almost all the rules, except for the first one, which should be responsible for locking the keyboard, either I'm too crooked and I can’t put it correctly, or they have something with the driver.
Here is the driver itself (I tried to install different versions of it):

After upgrading to 10, the machine began to move worse and loaded much longer and turns off ... I'll see more, now I have a desire to roll back for 8.
Who updated - write your impressions.

I also found a glitch with the 10th: during the update, the blunt mouse was connected and in the settings it was set to "disable the touch when using the mouse."
Updated to 10-ki and a touch even with a mouse, even without it does not work ....

There is a problem!!!! The laptop drowns out wifi throughout the apartment. Mostly on tp-link router ah. On all devices, the network disappears. Only reboot helps

Hello. I bought myself a TP300LD. I changed hdd 1tb to 256gb SSD (it was in zashashnik), expanded the memory to 8 GB. Immediately rolled neatly windows 10. All class ... super ...
But ... damn I'm afraid now for the screen. I bought a film universal 17case luxcase. cut the stencil, cut the film on it. Pasted. Damn .... The film was shit. Everything has become smeared. Horror.

Who glued the film to himself? And which one? What are your impressions?

* dim_x you have ssd determined without problems? On my tp300la, Windows 8.1 stubbornly does not see ssd during installation. Feeding native drivers off. The site does not help. I don’t know what the problem is. BIOS sees the disk.

YES seen without problems. I have windows 10. But on 8.1 there were no problems.

During installation, turn off the parameter in the Secure Boot BIOS.

I installed drivers from the official site.
But not everything was installed, it delivered Driver Booster 2.
Can you put an image on a torrent tracker?
