Description

Cyanogenmod- after-sales firmware of cell phones and tablets based on Android OS from the Cyanogen Team, now Cyanogen Inc. Supports features not found in the official Android device vendor firmware, including the original Android theme (Android Holo), the Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) codec, compcache, large APN list, OpenVPN client, reload menu

Cyanogenmod- The first mobile OS, which includes the BFS task scheduler and is the combination of the experimental branch and the official Android source tree. The developers claim that CyanogenMod improves the performance and reliability of the OS compared to the official firmware releases.

As of June 2014, CyanogenMod firmware has been installed on more than 12 million devices.

Instructions

Before any manipulations with the firmware of the phone, it is strongly recommended to make a full backup in Recovery!
TWRP-recovery version not less than 3.2.1-0 is recommended!
You can enter Recovery by holding the device in the off state. The volume "-" and the Power button, then the volume buttons select Recovery
Preparing the device for installing custom firmware

When installing from any other firmware via custom recovery

1. Copy the firmware and Gapps to the internal memory of the device
   
2. Go to recovery and perform wipe data / factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system (all data except user files on the device’s internal memory will be erased)
   
3. Next, select the item - "Install" or "Install zip from sdcard"
   
4. Find and install the file with the firmware
   
5. Find and install Gapps
   
6. Reboot
   

When upgrading from one Nightly / Snapshot to another more recent

1. Copy to the internal memory of the device archive with firmware
   
2. Next, select the item - "Install" or "Install zip from sdcard"
   
3. Find and install the file with the firmware
   
4. Reboot

The question is completely useless, it's like asking how much a car passes a year. Someone has 5 thousand, someone has 25. It all depends on the manner of use, service provider, connected synchronization, software, and so on. I once on the 3rd laptop got 10 hours of screen because I was sick, was all day in one place with a strong Wi-Fi signal, watched movies stupidly - usually the device didn’t pull out more than 4 hours for me

Specify: full stock CM12.1 with default settings. No tweaks on power saving with Google account sync enabled.

My review about nightie.
I pagan today her whole day. The battery holds better than the drain. But there are some unpleasant moments.

4. Not a pleasant moment with the lower navbar. Open the google camera application, then we look at the buttons of the bar disappear and instead of them barely noticeable 3 dots in them seem to collapse the buttons. When we tap on one of the points on the drain, for example, to go out of the camera, the touch effect occurs and the buttons fly out. On the CM, the dots remain dots and the application simply collapses after which the buttons appear.
5. These little things usually even remain a snapshot ah, that's why I love the stock.
