strange behavior of the router. WAN began to fall off. It works 2 hours 40 minutes and the Internet disappears. reboot and everything repeats. I cleaned it up with the last merlin for two days, it worked fine, then it all happened again. another router works fine. The provider has a rental time ip 3 hours can somehow be connected with this. I do not know where to dig.

Hello.

RT-AC56U Asuswrt-Merlin firmware: 380.62
Connection optics with static ip.

VPN question:
Is it possible for a range of internal addresses or connection types to specify the use of a VPN client?
For example, for all devices connected via wifi 2.4, everything should be sent via VPN? or say for the range 192.168.1.50/60 to use VPN?
Can this be implemented in some other firmware?

Everything, Merlin’s firmware will no longer exist, 384.6 is the last for this router:
384.8 (2-Dec-2018)
- NOTE: Asus has put the RT-AC56U on their End of Life
list, meaning no further firmware releases from
them. Since it's impossible
GPL release from Asus models,
I also have to retire the RT-AC56U. 384.6 is
final release for that model.
