I tried DD-WRT from similar models for hardware - did not work. It just does not work with modems that emulate a lan port. This can only be fixed by the firmware, but asus has not released new firmware for this device for a long time, and I can't find a suitable one for custom, because for this particular device they don’t exist, I’m looking for similar ones (there are hardware analogues of this device without DSL not needed)... -------------------- I'm macOS Linux Club If you want to contact me, mention in the message my nickname using the "name" button (for a notification to arrive) or write a PM |

Posted on 06/01/2015, 20:00: hentrs No, it does not help. On the website, an openwrite says that in theory it should be supported, but you need to build a firmware for it, how to do it - I do not know. -------------------- I'm macOS Linux Club If you want to contact me, mention in the message my nickname using the "name" button (for a notification to arrive) or write a PM |

I remind you that the firmware will have at least two problems: 1. There is no support for DSL, and there will not be, the device turns into just a router. 2. Rollback without additional devices is possible. Anyone still wanting? I use, there are no problems, the device works stably, despite the fact that periodically (once a month) hung on the off-firmware. Post has been editedNerman - 28.07.15, 15:25 |

And then I also needed my modem here only in the router mode. And on the native firmware does not want to pick up the address via DHCP. |
