Connecting Samsung Gear VR (USA) To Note 4 on Exynos ([Russia)

1. Go to the "Application Manager">"All applications"
2. Find and remove (stop) “Gear Vr SetupWizard” (Exynos only works with version 1.0.24)
3. Download version 1.0.24https: //dl.dropboxuser…arvr/gearvr_exynos.zip
4. Copy files to Note 4 and install
5. Do not update SetupWizard

Samsung representatives showed me this “miracle” yesterday.

In a nutshell - very cool. The decision to make a modular system using Note 4 is good. The cost of the accessory is not great, and for the owners of the new flagship it is an interesting toy. Detailing is better than on Oculus Rift, it is unique. The effect of the presence - excellent, no inhibitions / lags - was not noticed.
But there are some unpleasant moments. Officially, the gadget, most likely, in the CIS countries will not be sold. The amount of content is still small, and of course it is not for our market (although in fact, what's the difference?).

After two weeks, Gear VR will come to me for a while, I can already describe the gadget more accurately, because yesterday they gave me just “try” for 10 minutes, it was too little :(

But I can already say for sure - an interesting thing !! : happy:



p.s. I do not have a relationship with Samsung, do not consider it an advertisement. I do reviews on the technique, so it will be possible to poyuzat!
