This is for the forum administration and forum rules (and not for
niks255 - he already created this topic and so far (I hope in the future) oversees this topic, for which I am very grateful to him, although he was not obliged to do this)
yeah, forget it - i'm just angry, here and broke, for which I apologize.
I am angry for the following reason:
To All: In general, help the people.
the essence of the problem:
I can not find a place where the auto-completion window is drawn.
I remind you - this window is not drawn in my emulator. nothing is written to LogCat either - simply, broads, and the service is already on the screen ... (I tried ALL LogCat modes).
I tried to go debugger - I can not find the entry point where the service starts. After all, when we click on the input field, the keyboard starts, and from which place it starts, I cannot find it. In theory, it starts from the serviceJbkbd.java file (there are comments that this is the main keyboard service), tried to set a stop point on all the functions of this file - no interruption occurs at the start of the service anywhere ...
In general, the question itself:
FROM WHAT POSITION IS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE KEYBOARD BEGIN? Shl. help the people myself can not cope. ANDROID, for me, a new platform and many nuances of its work, I just do not know ...

strange somehow
I also do not understand - why produce topics, since the project has been abandoned for 2 years, but the forum rules, there are forum rules, and there will be fewer discontented ones - there were those who did not like that the jbak branch came to life and new messages appeared in it every day, and not once every five years, as before ...
