How to remove ROOT(so that the LG RCT and the download mode also did not see it)

1. It will take SuperSU. Go to its settings, turn off the Superuser, go down a bit below and click "permanently delete Root". SuperSU as a program will not be deleted, so we delete it manually.
2. Restart the phone.
3. Now, any program for checking the root will write that there is no root. So it will be in reality. But not for the LG protection system ... the fact is that the LG RCT (as well as the protection system in Download Mode) records the data of the first and only time it was launched>su and>busybox. Even if you delete the root, LG RCT will write what root is. This practice of locking the system from LG has been around for a long time. Therefore...
4. With the help of the Root Explorer (yes, it is him - even though we no longer have the root, it will also help us) in the root section of the sdcard (more safely go along the path / storage / emulated / 0 /) create a FILE (not a text file, but an empty form without permission; this is done by clicking the plus at the bottom of the Root Explorer and clicking on the “File” line below) called rct_security. Make sure that the file has a white blank form icon and does not have any names after the dot (.txt and the like), and the dot itself should not have a file - just "rct_security". Next, keep tap on the file and run it in a text editor. We enterforel.lee and save the file. The file must weigh exactly 9 bytes. After that, restart the phone again.
5. Go to the engineering menu, LG RCT and ... rejoice! :) You can also go into the download mode via LG PC Suite and the volume + button when the phone is turned off - the root will not appear there (UNROOTED).
6. The rct_security file will automatically be removed from memory, but the rct_security.bak file will remain. You can delete it - this file leaves the Root Explorer. By the way, you can now delete the Root Explorer too (especially if you go to the SC - so that there is no suspicion;)).

Perhaps it would be appropriate to replace the existing one in the header or simply add this method there. The method is verified personally by me, foreign guys with LG phones and, for example,here.

What is DEODEX !!!

1. What is ODEX (coex)?
The application files used in the Android OS are in .apk format. These are archive files containing:
application code (.odex files)
resources (images, inscriptions, xml-code, etc.)
certificates (if any)
.manifest file (description)

It is in this form that we receive files, for example, from the Android Market.
In official firmware, .odex files are taken out separately in the system / app, which makes it possible to speed up the loading of the used code in DalvikVM, but at the same time, it does not change the resources of this application, since part of it is always separately loaded into RAM.

2. What is DEODEX (deodex)?
When it is said that the application (firmware) is deodex (deodexed), this means that the executable part of the application (.odex) is repacked into the classes.dex file and placed back into the .apk, and since, in this case, all parts of the program are in in one place, you can easily edit its resources (pictures, fonts, etc.) without risking getting a non-working application / firmware.

Thus, it is possible to distinguish ODEX firmware from DEODEX by a simple sign: if you have files in the phone / system / app directory with .odex - ODEX firmware, if not at all - accordingly DEODEX.

Unlocking the bootloader to install custom kernels and enable fastboot mode

Android 5 Lolipop fastboot commands are not executed
We need a rooted LG G3s (D722 / D724) and ADB with fastboot on the PC

First we need to replace the firmware download mode with fastboot.
After that, it will be impossible to install the firmware via the flash tool! How to get everything back - see the spoiler below
We make a backup to be able to restore everything:

adb shell
su
dd if = / dev / block / platform / msm_sdcc.1 / by-name / laf of = / sdcard / laf.img

After entering the second command, the request for superuser rights will appear on the phone screen, we confirm it
In the internal memory, the file laf.img will be created, it is better not to delete it or save it to the PCwell, or you can just download the attached if something happens =)
Now we can, with a clear conscience, remove laf from the system

dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / platform / msm_sdcc.1 / by-name / laf
reboot

Disconnect the phone from the computer and turn it off. Further, with the volume button pressed, UP, we connect back.
The device booted into fastboot mode, now proceed to unlock the boot
