Instructions for creating splashscreen

1) Find a picture (preferably 720x1280 pixels resolution).
Linux version
For work, you need the installed ImageMagic.
2) Convert it:
convert -depth 8 picture.png-resize 720x1280 ^ bgr: splash.bin

3) Create an image for the firmware on the phone:
printf "\\ x53 \\ x50 \\ x4C \\ x41 \\ x53 \\ x48 \\ x21 \\ x21 \\ xD0 \\ x02 \\ x00 \\ x00 \\ x00 \\ x05">splash_image.img
dd if = / dev / zero bs = 1 count = 498>>splash_image.img
cat splash.bin>>splash_image.img

Windows version
2) Download and unpack the archive:Attached fileX9180_splash.7z(4.59 MB)

3) Drag the image to the file create_splash.cmd.

4) Check the size of the resulting file. If the size is different from 2765312 bytes, delete the file and start all over again.

Install splashscreen
Option 1
5) On the phone, reboot into fastboot:
adb reboot bootloader

6) Flash splashscreen into the phone:
fastboot -i 0x19d2 flash splash splash_image.img

Option 2
5) Throw splash.img with the replacement archiveAttached filesplash.zip(363.83 KB)

6) Transfer the archive to the phone's memory card, install the archive through the recovery.

Option 3
5) Install TWRP 2.8.4.0 or later (for examplethis).
6) Reboot into recovery, select Install, click Images, select splash.img, specify the Splash section, swipe.

Nubia Splash Maker v1.0.0.6
A utility for creating splashscreens (for now for ZTE V5, ZTE V7 Max)

Changes
[1.0.0.6]
[*] Program changed name to Nubia Splash Maker
[+] I learned how to make splash screens for 1080x1920 resolution (ZTE Z7 Max)
[*] Resolution is added to the patch name (for example, splash-1080x1920.zip or splash-720x1280.zip)

[1.0.0.5]
[+] The program now creates a ready-made splash.zip for firmware through recovery

How to use
Drag the image of the BMP format, 24-bit to the program icon, the dimensions should match the screen size of your phone. If there were no errors, then the splash.zip file will be nearby.

Disassemble, build and modify boot.img for Windows

Download utilityhttp: //forum.xda-devel...owthread.php? t = 2073775
We unpack archive with contents and a bed in a directory with the utility boot.img
android_win_tools \
boot.img
cleanup.bat
repackimg.bat
unpackimg.bat

Now we drag the boot.img mice to unpackimg.bat, after that it should work like this
android_win_tools \
ramdisk \
split_img \
boot.img
cleanup.bat
repackimg.bat
unpackimg.bat

Where ramdisk is the folder with our resources for modification.

We begin the modification

Turn on adb from root

Open the file Android Image Kitchen \ ramdisk \ default.prop in a text editor (I use Notepad ++)
And see
#
# ADDITIONAL_DEFAULT_PROPERTIES
#
ro.secure = 1
ro.allow.mock.location = 0
ro.debuggable = 0
persist.sys.strict_op_enable = false
persist.sys.whitelist = / system / etc / whitelist_appops.xml
persist.sys.usb.config = none

And edit it like this
#
# ADDITIONAL_DEFAULT_PROPERTIES
#
ro.secure = 0
ro.allow.mock.location = 1
ro.debuggable = 1
persist.sys.strict_op_enable = false
persist.sys.whitelist = / system / etc / whitelist_appops.xml
persist.sys.usb.config = adb

Now in the Android Image Kitchen \ ramdisk \ sbin \ folder, we change the adbd binary to the one that is attached below
Attached fileadbd.zip(124.05 KB)

All is ready.

Enable init.d support and disable stock recovery firmware service.

Open the file Android Image Kitchen \ ramdisk \ init.rc
Are looking for
service flash_recovery /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
class main
oneshot

And commenting
#service flash_recovery /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
# class main
# oneshot

Next, add the following
service sysinit / system / bin / logwrapper / system / xbin / busybox run-parts /system/etc/init.d
class main
user root
oneshot

All is ready

Putting boot.img

Double-click Android Image Kitchen \ repackimg.bat
After that, Android Image Kitchen \ image-new.img will appear - this is our new, corrected boot.img

I upload new boot.img like this:
I cast image-new.img to an external sd card
Next, I run the command via adb
dd if = / storage / sdcard0 / image-new.img of = / dev / block / mmcblk0p18

(Need busybox)

P.S. For init.d to work, busybox must be installed (an easy way to install® BusyBox)
Well, by itself, we create the /system/etc/init.d folder on the body and create the 01initd_test file in it to test the performance of our service with the contents
#! / system / bin / sh
# init.d test
echo init.d work ZTE V5>/data/initd_test.txt

After downloading, the file /data/initd_test.txt with the contents should appear on the phone
init.d work ZTE V5

If there is, then everything is OK init.d is functioning

Throw me, just in case, your current splash.img. I'll see if it fits your device or not.

Modifying the stock clock widget

Attached Image
Attached Image

We disassemble framework-res.apk
And open the \ framework-res \ res \ values \ dimens.xml look for these lines and rule this way
It was
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_time_size">44.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_city_size">14.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_date_size">8.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_ampm_size">8.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_margin_top">-10.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_ampm_size">8.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_city_size">14.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_date_size">8.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_width">120.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_height">120.0dip</ dimen>

It became
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_time_size">74.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_city_size">20.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_date_size">15.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_ampm_size">15.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_digital_clock_margin_top">-15.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_ampm_size">10.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_city_size">14.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_date_size">12.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_width">140.0dip</ dimen>
<dimen name = "nubia_analog_clock_height">140.0dip</ dimen>

Next, open \ framework-res \ res \ values \ strings.xml, search and edit
It was
<string name = "nubia_widget_time_format">MM-dd</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_date_format">MM / dd</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_hour_format_12">hh: mm</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_hour_format_24">kk: mm</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_week_format">E</ string>

It became
<string name = "nubia_widget_time_format">EEEE, dd MMMM</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_date_format">EEEE, dd MMMM</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_hour_format_12">hh: mm</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_hour_format_24">kk: mm</ string>
<string name = "digital_clock_week_format"></ string>

Next we follow the path \ framework-res \ res \ layout \ nubia_digital_clock_with_city.xml and edit it this way
It was
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout android: layout_width = "fill_parent" android: layout_height = "fill_parent"
xmlns: android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

</ LinearLayout>
<TextView android: textSize = "@ dimen / nubia_digital_clock_city_size" android: textColor = "@ color / white" android: gravity = "center" android: id = "@ id / city_view" android: layout_width = "wrap_content" android: layout_height = " wrap_content "android: layout_marginTop =" @ dimen / nubia_digital_clock_margin_top "/>

<TextView android: textSize = "@ dimen / nubia_digital_clock_date_size" android: textColor = "@ color / white" android: gravity = "center" android: id = "@ id / week_view" android: layout_width = "wrap_content" android: layout_height = " wrap_content "/>
</ LinearLayout>
</ LinearLayout>
</ Framelifeout>

It became
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout android: layout_width = "fill_parent" android: layout_height = "fill_parent"
xmlns: android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

</ LinearLayout>
<LinearLayout android: orientation = "horizontal" android: layout_width = "wrap_content" android: layout_height = "wrap_content"android: layout_marginTop = "@ dimen / nubia_digital_clock_margin_top" >
<TextView android: textSize = "@ dimen / nubia_digital_clock_date_size" android: textColor = "@ color / white" android: gravity = "center" android: id = "@ id / date_view" android: layout_width = "wrap_content" android: layout_height = " wrap_content "/>

</ LinearLayout>
</ Framelifeout>

The line highlighted in red, I moved down
Well, the final touch, go along the path \ framework-res \ res \ layout \ nubia_analog_clock_with_city.xml and edit it this way
It was
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout android: layout_width = "fill_parent" android: layout_height = "fill_parent"

</ LinearLayout>
</ Framelifeout>

It became
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout android: layout_width = "fill_parent" android: layout_height = "fill_parent"
xmlns: android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
