I have partial success in terms of flashing the device
Attached Image

As you can see, it sews to addresses, and not a solid image, this will expand the possibilities for modds.
While not in a hurry to sew this program. Do everything at your own peril and risk. I flashed R215MobileWifiFirmware_v3.1, Vodafon Homepage firmware: VodafoneMobile.wifi
Attached Image

And immediately sewed and Web UI and firmware :-D

P.S. Be very careful, I killed my router and restored it, squeezed the MENU + POWER, with the battery and wire pulled out, inserted the battery and the wire and once in 20 it went into recovery mode :-D I will continue to report on the successes and materials here

Well, today everything I managed to do:
1) patch boot.img ie enable adb
2) Find a way to flash a separate image into the router and flash boot.img
3) As seen on the screen, I got access to adb.

* 10v0138,Well, if you're talking about it, then most likely IMEI in nvram is. I met the device on MTK6582 they have IMEI in nvram, so it is quite likely that he is there.

I post the patched boot, it is from 21.236.03.01.209, who wants to dig into adb and firmware.
Start the flasher, select the COM port and press SWITCH TO DM, switch to the download mode, close the flasher and wait until the device is detected, start the flasher and see the HUAWEI Mobile Connect line - PC UI Interface (COM6) manually prescribe this COM port. Next, Flash and select the firmware and wait.

As I can understand the partition structure, I redo the firmware from the megaphone for this flasher.

* Ol_3,for now hardly, but in theory this Android needs to pick up a Linux open source application that restricts traffic and collect it for Android 2.3.6. Antennas are not interested as unnecessary.

I found on the Internet I want to screw samba

but here back to collect the problem
While there is no time to chemize, but I would also pick the firmware myself, it’s not a problem for me to make out either, experiment, maybe you will find something interesting.
This is Android, you need to pick up Linux
It is possible, just do not get carried away, and then the device may at one point not be loaded from such experiments. Although now, in principle, everyone does not kill ...

* Raider3,I can only do firmware and forums in my free time.

I found the config for the android kernel and pulled out information about the CPU and Memory. Also mtdblk0-6 look what's what. Get a B270 firmware. I look at Taiwanese, but there is no web ui from it. Now wonders if you need swap and size / system and if you need to expand with sdcard

hmmm, the idea came here, you can charge phones from E5372, so there is a possibility that there is a usb host (otg)

hmm, unfortunately, with add. programs have failed, you can add them, but here is the problem of samba for Linux, but I have never compiled Linux source for Android. If there is anyone who knows how to write in a personal. I've been trying to figure it out in Android NDK for 3 days already :)

hmm very interesting phenomenon. Even after a flashing and a clamped reset, data is not cleared of changes, but if you remount partitions in rw and type wipe all everything is cleared :-D then flashing :-) and everything is ok.

Found samba for DESIRE want to see what's what. There is ssh and mc :-)

I correctly understand that we are talking about our long-suffering (well, someone like) router? From which page / message about "access to the body" can I start reading?

* vorphalack,Yes, right, all the materials are laid out in the thread about the firmware. While all in the test. I core patch and now adb is. Connect so
adb connect "ip address of router"
adb devices
adb shell

I have a new success formatted sdcard in ext4 and it was mounted. I created system and data subfolders and loaded binary from desire to start the test with the software, samba and there may be other tools.
Attached Image

As can be seen from the screen, he asks for libraries, they are simply completing 1 each. SD mounted to / mnt / sd

Attached Image

As you can see, he writes that it starts up, but so far the configs have not been written under the router :-D
Damn some kind of sadness, everything set up created here log got out,

now I think what to do is afraid of the trouble of the smbd itself. And I did not collect it, but the finished one shook :-( I took the basisthis

P.S. Okay, I will try to compile myself, but not today, tomorrow night will be. Yes, and rebuild the core. It is necessary to add PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH with links to / mnt / sd / system / *. I think in the end disable adb and put ssh. And configure init.d for easy installation of applications on the router, without damaging the router, so to speak. Already the result is not bad.

here it seems that he lacks the TABLES of iconv. or you need to replace the system libiconv with your own (it is possible that a stupid stub with empty functions is worth it in the system). The error is not specific for arm / android, the solutions should be suitable from ordinary Linux. Well, or score a bolt and do not write on the flash drive something other than ASCII file names.

Immediately stupid question - how many times can you enter FLASH CODE incorrectly and what to do if publicly available generators do not fit? Megaphone 21.236.03.02.209, but I really want to dig deeper in his Wi-Fi config - suddenly I find the reason for my “eternal megabit”.

Well, I have a self-flasher asked for flash code (well, I understand that it is - despite the fact that I have an English-speaking Windows, or rather MUI, half of the software still thinks that it is necessary to broadcast in Russian. and the Chinese speaking Russian are like drunk Russian, only Chinese)

on what is happening in the config - it seems, it is necessary to create users in the system. well, or at least create / etc / passwd, it is quite possible that it is not / empty.

* vorphalack,Yes, it is empty, but there is no utility for creating a user. Okay, I killed my firmware, now I’ll take it out and tomorrow I will try to assemble it myself. Essence like I understood.

Hmm, I found a cant flash drive for some reason cleared. Sadly

Well, you can try to simply create the necessary data in the file, for example:

root: x: 0: 0: root: / root: / bin / sh
nobody: x: 65534: 65534: nobody: / nonexistent: / bin / sh

In the meantime, I sewed my modem E5372_Update_21.236.03.00.414 into my modem. As expected, with wifa nifiga has not changed: /

* vorphalack,I think the point is unmounting a flash drive, due to the fact that it hung up the flash drive and flew out. Only strange as the section disappeared :-( samba has smbpasswdbin. :-(

I did not understand that with WiFi, I have everything ok. Are you talking about megabits? Maybe not in the router case? :-D

If possible, I will try to sabraat myself, but I got to know Linux less than 2 years ago, like 2 OS. Therefore, the source can not collect normally

I hope that in the router, wl status enter in the adb shell window. I wonder who among us is a fool here.
source code with cross-compiling on arm is still that task, imho is easier to pull bags from open / dd-wrt and gut them.

* vorphalack, hmm interesting cross compile, I managed to build samba 4.1.13, but I collected it in Ubuntu x64 and linker came out /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so instead of /lib/ld-linux.so.3. I will think while I have time to study
