For owners of Optima 7.4 and Optima 7.41 - do not confuse the firmware, double check that it was your version that was downloaded, in order to avoid .. The rest also applies - uploading someone else's version can result in a “brick”.

Upgrading to this version is only using the MTK Flash Tool utility via the Firmware & Upgrade option:
