Root on 4.4.2 made the program Kingo Root.
At first, the program, apparently, downloaded the drivers for TM-7877, installed something for itself.

2. Titanium Backup is also placed strange: If not a pro-version, then you can archive, restore, but you can not freeze the application. If you install the pro-version, then she can freeze, and refuses to archive flatly due to, in her opinion, the lack of space on the media. Question: Who knows, is there a file archiving proxy for 4.4?
3. What other programs can “freeze” applications in the tablet?

The problem with Titanium Backup on our tablet with 4.4.2 was solved by demolishing the old Kingo Root program and installing KingRoot and KingUser as written here:Р’В® Titanium Backup (Post # 34805448)

I decided to install them on a clean system and upgraded again to 4.4.2 from the site according to the instructions.
What is interesting: in recovery mode, it was not suggested to update from an external SD, as after purchasing from 4.2.2, but only from an internal SD. I put the firmware there at the root and everything went successfully and very quickly according to the instructions from the site (except for the location of the firmware archive).

Then I installed KingRoot and KingUser, Root Cheker Basic and Titanium Backup Version 6.1.5.6 Patched by JASI2169: Р’В® Titanium Backup (Post # 31488448), Lakipatcher did not pass anything and did not install it yet.
From KingUser from the Apps tab (applications) gave Titanium and Rutcheker the status "Allow". Overloaded.
Rutcheker showed rights, and Titanium kept everything on the external SD and quietly froze for a sample of Chrome.
Titanium after reboots works.
In KingUser on the KingTool tab, you can manage autoload and uninstall.
So far, the problem has been resolved.
