The device is very, very pleasant! Tactile, by the way it lies in the hand (despite the thickness), by design.
But I probably will advise buying it :( For now at least, all the more for the money they are asking for. A clearly raw model, and a developer who has been late for a year ...

When playing calls, the speaker croaks on the bass, the sound on the call hangs if the file is large.
Vista is not seen in any way (neither by usb nor by BT), it’s also impossible to receive files via BT. With WiFi - all the way.
A fingerprint scanner is complete nonsense, so I didn’t understand why it is needed (option: launch the finger program, run one finger over the scanner and start some previously assigned program. What for?)
Teleport and goldenkey applications that allow browsing the BB screen and crawling from a smart on it with the mouse (first) and blocking the BB from a smart (second), according to the message from the attached piece of paper, work only under XPSP2 on devices with the same Toshiba’s BT stack and read - Toshiba laptops). Thank you, but on ... you need! In short, it did not work for me.
The camera is not bad, obviously better than 8310, 8500 and Vox (I did not compare with others), the video writes in 3gp is quite normal (in the reviews scolded). The outbreak is a profanation, but all the same.
Video telephony works (I called up with Sonerik), although I see better than I can see.
In fact, a nimble machine, Divx video (an hour and a half film of 700 meters or more, without recompression) - without brakes.
Very pleased with the side rocker volume - it is very convenient to scroll through the books (with a smart in the right hand and rocker under the thumb)
A nice feature is the headset: with a 2.5 connector, there is a microphone with a clothespin, a button and a 3.5 jack - turn on whatever you like, since the supplied 3.5 headphones are about nothing ....

Here it will be WM6 with the simultaneous elimination of bugs - and it will be very good.
But nevertheless - very, very pleasant. I gave it to my son (15 years old).

A week passed after the purchase of my new smartphone - Toshiba G500. Before that, there were a year and a half with the Qtek 8310 and a year before it with the Imate SP3i. Yes, I almost forgot - shortly before Toshi, I used to indulge with ASUS P526 for a week - but I don’t even want to remember about this gadget-misunderstanding!

Brief summary:
LIMITATIONS:
1. Weak battery - by the nature of the activities a lot of telephone conversations. So - for the whole day is not enough, in the evening you have to recharge.
At first I thought that the battery had not swung, but after a week of use, the situation has not changed much. 8310 with the same number of conversations held for almost two days.
2. There is no turning on the speaker button during a call. For me, this turned out to be unexpected in comparison with the 8310. I thought that this was a standard feature of WM, and this turns out to be a HTC notion. I really miss this.
3. A smaller number of hardware buttons in comparison with the 8310 - there are no buttons "manager", "contacts" and "messages". "Contacts" hung on the camera button, and without the "messages" and "manager," it is quite possible to live.
4. There is no infrared port. Without this, you can still live.
5. It is difficult to choose a case - it’s not at all easy for sliders.
PROS:
1. The most important thing is a much more rational use of 64 MB of memory. With the same set of programs, I have 16 MB free. At 8310, there is a persistent problem of lack of “storage” memory. Now there is no such problem AT ALL !!!
2. Faster processor 300 MHz versus 200 MHz - programs load really faster.
3. Really Japanese assembly - MADE IN JAPAN. I do not even remember what modern gadgets are not going to in China. Maybe it does not matter, but the assembly is really very high quality !!!

In short, I like the device - I think for a year at least it should be delayed for me!
