In addition, at low speeds of the cooler (~ 30 rpm) some squeals appear. I decided to sort it out with a penny new cooler with Ali. Here, as I understand it, it’s not so easy. Does anyone have any tips, secrets, success stories? If you can do this for a price that is not comparable to the price of the device itself, then it will be super!

Fortunately, I haven’t heard about such advice, so I have been using the full-length subject as a home server for more than a year: transmission, dlna, openvpn, nginx, nextcloud, nfs — all these services work simultaneously under load without stopping . With the assigned tasks copes perfectly. Uptime is good. The radiator is hot to the touch, that's all. did not notice that it somehow reflects on the work. Prior to that, I used a version with a cooler, but the last one was very noisy, so that piece of hardware went off to perform the functions of a game console, which is run from time to time.

Normally ODROID-HC2 consumes less than 1Amp / 12V in most cases.
It is very high with fully spinning 3.5inch HDD.
Any 5V / 9V / 15V PSU can’t be used with HC2. It works with only 12V PSU.
