An application that fully justifies the motto: "All ingenious is simple"


Essential Anatomy 3 is one of the most interesting applications I've seen for iPad. If I were a teacher of biology, anatomy, or a medical student, my delight would be even greater.

The application contains a huge amount of information about the structure of the human body, but in spite of this it is very easy to understand it. When you first start the program will offer you to view the training video, I advise you to do it.

Essential Anatomy 3 - the main desktop

The main desktop of the program consists of 3 components: the right menu, the skeleton model and the left menu.

The right menu contains 9 basic systems of the human body: muscles, arteries, veins, nervous system, connective tissues, respiratory system, digestive organs, urinary system and lymphatic system.

By clicking on this or that icon, we activate the system, and its components are added to the skeleton model. For the muscular system there are two icons with the symbols + and -, this is explained by the fact that the system is added to the skeleton gradually, in several stages. The activated system icon is highlighted in gray.

In order to study a certain part of the body you need to tap on it. The selected part is highlighted in green and an additional menu appears. In the menu you can listen to the audio recording with the name of the body part, view the information or make a note to this body.

Also in this menu there are options:

Isolate - detailed information about the body part, the ability to view it from different angles

Hide - the selected part becomes invisible.

Fade - the selected part becomes transparent

Fade others - everything except the selected part becomes transparent

Hide others - everything except the selected part becomes invisible.

Extra menu

The left menu is auxiliary, with its help you can make notes, search for the necessary organs, share information, make changes to the program settings. I advise you to pay attention to the points Quiz, Multiple and Bookmark.

Quiz is a kind of quiz game in which you need to correctly determine the name of a part of the body. Multiple mode allows you to choose not one body for action, but several. It may be useful in studying a group of organs or a system.

Bookmark is a collection of ready-made models of individual organs and systems. The advantage is that you can create and save your own models, and then send them by mail.

It is difficult to imagine a more effective tool for visualizing and studying the organs of the human body than this program. Essential Anatomy 3, iPad, in conjunction with Apple TV and the projector - can be the basis of a truly interactive biology or anatomy room.

The program costs 99 and is available by reference. I can safely say that the value of the program is ten times higher than its cost.

Installation:Unpack the archive to the root of the external memory card without changing the path of the cache folder. Install apk, and enjoy :)

I downloaded again from 4pd - and from the second time everything downloaded and unpacked correctly.
But judging by the comments - it’s not just me who bother. All the same, it will be safer on Google Disk.
