ELM327

When diagnosing via the ELM-327 Bluetooth adapter, all other Bluetooth connections must be disconnected on the device!

The program is focused on the original ELM327Elm electronicsand uses the K-Line and CAN bus protocols! The standard OBD-II blocks are supported in the simplest version!
There are Chinese-made ELM327 adapters on the market that provide only the OBD-II protocol for tester programs. With such adapters, the program works, if you select the OBD-II standard unit, otherwise, when detecting such an adapter during connection, it says'Adapter not supported '!

Logs of the program:

When you first start the program, an OpenDiag folder (directory) will be created on the device’s main map.

Enable logs for analysis

Through the program menu, select 'On. log for analysis'. Logs for the log analyzer will be saved in the OpenDiag folder.
Log Analyzers: DiagView (+ User Guide) and ReadLogs (Standard block OBD-II logs are not supported)

Enable logging for debugging

If the folder OpenDiag create a folderLogs , then in this folder, logs will be saved for debugging the program, regardless of the option to enable the log for analysis!
If logs are not needed for debugging the program, delete the Logs folder when the program is not running!
Send to the forum the archive of the OpenDiag folder, any format (zip, rar ...)

with ELM327

The adapter must be replaced.It is determined only by the logs of the connection to the block. Adapter Version 1.5 and up

1. The unit on the K-Line bus. The adapter responds with a question mark to the ATFI command (bus connection).
2. The unit on the CAN bus. The long response from the block contains several frames (lines), the adapter issues only the first frame (line).
The adapter does not understand the settings for frames, but it responds OK. These settings are needed for non-standard addressing to the block, as a rule it is add. equipment.
I installed such settings for all the blocks, including for the COURT, but then I had to remove the blocks in the COURT, since such adapters cease to read the SUD blocks normally.
3. At first, the adapter works as expected. After a few requests, or after some time, begins to send his version, instead of the answer the computer.

All ELM327:
The pairing code is 1234 (rarely 0000 or 6789).
After connecting any other device to ELM327, the previous device must be reauthorized on ELM327!

USB Host is supported, the mouse, keyboard, flash drives work, and the program does not see the USB serial!
