Description:

Application for sending online video from various sources on Chromecast (Google Chromecast - Discussion).

Instead of a video player, choose VEGA Cast in the list of applications to send the video to Chromecast.

Among other things, adapted for sending video from the resources:
vk.com, youtube.com, vimeo.com, ustream.tv, megogo.net, rutube.ru.

In the android clients of these sites, click share / send via VEGA Cast.

You can send a page with video from a browser to VEGA Cast - the application will detect videos from the main online video resources on the page.

You can watch most of the online broadcasts of TV channels in the format hls (* .m3u8).

In the standard VKontakte client:
1. In the video menu (three points on the right), select "Copy link".
2. Open the VEGA Cast application and add a link to the video ("+" button). When VEGA Cast starts, it will see that you have copied the link and will automatically open the add video window.

Is this a fatal chromecast problem or can it be fixed in a vcast?

If possible, look for a solution.

If you transfer (share) from the rutube application (which is the most convenient), then the video is defined in vCast correctly, but alas, it does not play on the HC.

Could you make vCast take only a link from this porridge? And then you have to first share the video with the browser, and then just from it a clean link in vCast.

The video stopped playing if you send a link from FS VideoBox, even the fact that before 100% looked now the video is not found

Everything is fine, but there is one bug.
When sending video from FSVideoBox it takes a very long time to load. The preloader hangs three minutes before launch.



With all other resources run instantly.
