Well, of course he is stupid =). There is no information on how to boot from a flash drive, even if it’s easier to install Windows?

On the PMP810FWH there is a ROM - M.2 NGFF FORESEE B301G064G (64 GB) and RAM - K4B4G1646Q-HYK0.
I do not know who will come in handy, just for the sake of information)

Comrades! Native charging goes to 12V. Will the tablet charge via USB from 5V?

If you want to reset the device:
Swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle, select Settings, and then Change computer settings.
(If you are using a mouse, move the pointer to the lower right corner of the screen, then select the Settings section, and then Change computer settings.)

Select Update and Repair ->Recovery ->Select a device update method.

All ku, I am going to purchase this tablet, I would like to know more about it in terms of performance: games, wi-fi, and so on. and so on. Owners of this tablet respond, I really want to buy it but I want to know more about it.

Rep: (209)
I bought this tablet.
Immediately I have a problem - the battery does not take charge (either discharged to impossibility, or the power controller flew ...), I didn’t check the device well when I received it at the post office.
I struggle with this, but for now I work on a power cord.

Impressions:

When you first turn on the tablet works well, with a normal speed of responsiveness to touch and swipe.
But, with the gradual establishment of their programs - the brakes begin.
It is easy to conclude that the memory is overloaded, because the disk has only 8 GB of memory in addition to the system files.
And by installing my programs, I reduce this volume.

Only installing a stripped-down version of Windows 8.1 can help, since there are a lot of them on the torrets (the stripped down one is fully working, but without unnecessary slag).
For example, I saw an assembly, which after installation on a disk takes only 3 GB !!! (and on this tablet - factory Windows 8.1 takes 24 GB !!!)
And for your files (movies, music, books, etc.) you can use a 64 GB memory card, plus cloud storage.

It’s not hard to flash, you just need: an installation flash drive with a modified Windows 8.1, a USB hub, a USB keyboard, a mouse.
But - a problem in the drivers for this tablet.
I did not find anything on the Internet, except WiFi-driver (and that on the official site of technical support).
It was possible to understand that the problem of the lack of a driver for the screen sensor for a jump is the biggest, without which it will not work.

Conclusion:
The tablet is not practical.
Little memory.
There will be problems with speed.
You need to wait for the drivers if there is a desire to upgrade.
There may be problems with charging the battery.
Perhaps another, which I have not yet seen.

I wonder how you deal with the problem of undercharging? Disassemble and charge separately?

Rep: (209)

It was not about undercharging.
He did not charge at all.
I returned the tablet to the seller.

As far as I understood, the problem is that if the battery is strongly discharged, then it will not stupidly charge. To turn on the power supply - also need to try. On the Internet, almost all reviews related to this problem.
The problem is being treated by flashing the BIOS / MICOM, but on the Prestigio website there is nothing but the Realtek WiFi driver.

Yes exactly.
But, the problem of a discharged battery is not solved by the firmware.
To change it or wake it up (if I am not mistaken, with a power supply unit with the highest number of current values).
A firmware can solve the problem of lack of memory.

With the battery, everything is fine, just the tablet does not want to charge it. The firmware solves the problem with the power controller. Something like this.

Rep: (209)
The firmware solves the problem with the power controller.

Yes, there will be charging problems due to a faulty controller.
But I think that this is a hardware problem, not software.
That is - you need to change the controller

There was such a discharge.
I stuck power and pressed the power button (about a minute).
The tablet has loaded - the charge was displayed 0.
I left it on charging, (because when it was turned off, it wasn’t charging - 8 hours = 0%; again switching on with a minute of power clamping) - it charged somewhere in 2 hours

Rep: (209)
charged somewhere in an hour 2

And now everything is normal?
Discharge-charge cycles go well?

Rep: (28)
* lake2003,
Carry in service, the problem itself will not be solved. Or you will have to watch all the time so that the battery does not discharge less than 3%.

Yes, all right now. More such problems were not
It originates in the off state.

Now all the rules. I do not think that the discharge below 3% often repeats.

As for charging, I removed the back cover and the charge went, put it back, there is no charge, I took it off, now I'm trying to find where it is.
The foil for cooling, shifted it over the cutout for the WI-FI module, unscrewing the screw with which it was screwed, put the lid back and there is no charge when the lid is closed, maybe the case may not, where it closes and did not disassemble.

* Ur4ela,
Can the battery plug become crooked and move away?
If you write something in qms, I'll try to help with the decision.
