Description:
Sailfish OS is an open source operating system for Linux-based portable devices, which has been developed since 2012 by the Finnish company Jolla.
The basis of the project's developments: the operating system MeeGo and the library Qt. The user interface is configured using QML and QtQuick. Standard QtMobility APIs are supported.
Sailfish OS is planned to be installed on various devices.
Many applications for Google Android will be able to work under Sailfish OS.
The official press release reports full hardware and software compatibility with Android.

Release notes for this update:

1. Apps
Jolla apps can't be found. So we've baked them in to avoid sailors from manual searching and installing. Other apps are able to install. So nothing dramatically.

2. Grid
This release doesn’t provide a 3x3 grid

3. Ratio
You can play with the ratio setting. This helps again squares in background (and maybe the 3x3 grid)
If you want to try another pixel ratio follow these steps:

rm /etc/dconf/db/vendor.d/locks/pixel-ratio.txt
dconf write / desktop / sailfish / silica / theme_pixel_ratio 1.5
systemctl --user restart lipstick
replace 1.5 with another value

4. hi-res icons
If you want to try some hi-res icons doin this:

devel-su zypper in jolla-ambient-z2.0 ambient-icons-closed-z2.0
systemctl --user restart lipstick

release notes for jolla phone:

Download link in op or:

Not least: some big progress on cm11

Beta 6
Notes: another build is up called beta6. But it isn't really a new beta. Changes from sailfish version 1.1.4.28 to 1.1.4.29 are small. But two bugfixes are in. So I decided to generate a new one. If you aren't affected.

Bugfixing notes from jolla:

1.1.4.28 (04/15/2015): Initial early access release
1.1.4.29 (04.2.2015): Fixed caldav calendars

Source:
https: //together.jolla...vanjarvi-early-access/

UPD:
One new feature of sailfish in landscape mode. You can activate it in options. So the custom keyboard layout needs an update. Maybe you want to look here for a solution / update:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=91917

Beta 7
1.1.4.29 a few pages back. But for a low income volume issue

Beta 8
we have pushed out another build. sailfishos 1.1.6.27 beta8. Please check out the release notes from jolla:
//savagemessiahzine.com/ pages / g ... es-116aaslakkajarvi% 2F

ATTENTION: In this version you can only find android apps in the jolla store until the sever side is fixed. You will notice them when you find non android apps in the store. Take away to install applications or the commandline tool zypper. Jolla apps are included.

Rep: (92)
there’s a moment, they sent me that without Radio 84 firmware everything works. I just switched from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 a couple of days from Miyui and I had to flash 84 radio. Now everything is working fine on thefishfish.
What radio do you have flashed? I think it depends too.
for the sake of vigilance, take a look either at the "sailfishos-mako-release-1.0.5.16-EA2"

Rep: (92)
Actyon
I'm not an ace, but I think the problem is in the radio. I don’t know whether it is possible, but I think it is possible to flash 84 radio via fastboot. should work

Rep: (178)
Pandafyria,
Interestingly, isn’t it sewn with radio station?

Rep: (92)
Actyon
Here I can tell you exactly what is not

Rep: (178)
Pandafyria,
yes, they suggested that the radio is not sewn with firmware

Rep: (92)
I’ll probably leave her, let her stand, I like her. only me without pictures and music. More precisely, those files that were not visible on the phone. you can survive in principle)
who wants to try, I think it's worth putting at least see what it is

I had 4.2.2. Then I asked for "CM 10.1.3" and a fishfish. On the phone shows that it is free 5 gig. essentially nothing is deleted?
or am I mistaken?
it wouldn’t be bad if you told me how to return to android. flash with custom, or completely clean through fastboot
