Yeah, as fast as they develop the application, perhaps by 2016 and there will be calls at least. You cannot attract users with text messages alone, especially with this kind of traffic consumption. Of course, I think that I am not paranoid, but somehow I like to feel free from listening, reading, and controlling by prying eyes, so I’m looking forward to a full-featured application, but my aspirations are melting every day. Probably today in the world, it is not so easy to promote an application of this kind, from this and such delays (I always calm myself so). So still waiting.

At the moment in the desktop versions work video calls. Not yet optimized. In windows, the uTox client does not support Russian (most likely the problem is in winapi), it already works normally in linux.
Regarding security: at the moment ip interlocutor scorches.
We must hope to add h264 support to the protocol (or try to add it yourself). Android devices with vpx can not cope, even dual-core. h264 can even be hardware encoded.

I do not know how antox, mTox for Andrei does not eat a battery in standby mode practically. Traffic - nibbles. Calls work, text works, saves messages on exit. Interface - yes, not finished.
And the advantage, in comparison with Skype, VibER and the like - the connection goes directly with the interlocutor, not through a third-party server.
