* 3PAC,
Put in place of TCP ->ALL
If it doesn't help, try alternative firmware.
When downloading a device, how is it connected to the router?

Evays as connected to the router?

Cord. Gigabit in the router, gigabit in the computer. Cord factory. Gigabit connection speed. ALL did not help. I turn to a familiar Linux guru for help in setting up DD-WRT. Thanks for the help.
ZY I read that the first versions did not give out more than 120 Mbit. But there is a percentage EMNIP 400 MHz, and here 720 MHz. There was an obvious calculation on my part that he would be able to grind.

Rep: (360)
* 3PAC,
Try to change the cord, you never know
Dd-wrt is usually configured via the web interface, no special knowledge in Linux is required

I requested DD-WRT. The situation is more than strange for me. At first it was all about the "Maximum number of ports" in the "Administration". It was ~ 4000 value. Although it is written that the default is 32768. Okay. Delivered 32768. CPU usage has increased (~ 50%) as the number of ports (~ 10k). But the speed of the torrent has not increased. And I observe such a rather strange picture. WAN load is about 10 times more than LAN. I don’t understand how a WAN can go up to 220 Mbps, and up to 22 LANs?

Tell me please:
I have firmware 3.15.31 Build 130925 Rel.32445n WR1043 v2
Three months everything was OK, but now the Internet is tupit.
I want to flash on TL-WR1043ND_V2_140725_RU from the official site, but it says "NOTE Only for TL-WR1043ND (RU) v2", and I just have TL-WR1043ND without "(RU)". Has anyone been stitching on this firmware contrary to the warning in the note?

Rep: (360)
* oleg-smile,
RU has nothing to do with, there are only two versions of 1043 - v1 and v2, which is described in detail in the topic header + photos.

Yes, this is understandable, but on the official website they wrote so ominously thatONLY for TL-WR1043ND (Ru) v2
And another firmware (just below), ostensibly for version 2 too, but without(Ru)
So I think to flash or not. There will be a brick, then a warranty case will say, there it was written where they were looking.

* oleg-smile,
There is written Russian web interface. Otherwise, there is no difference, I seem to have answered in an accessible way - at the moment there are two versions of "by hardware" 1043, so between them you really should not confuse the firmware.
If you have noticed doubts at all, post a photo of bar codes that are pasted on the bottom of the router.
Turn the device, on the bottom / back of the device you will see a label with a row of symbols “Ver: X. Y ”(for example, Ver: 1.0) in the Serial Number field. The number X is the device version.If the inscription looks like this: “Ver: 1.1”, it means that you have a device version 1 in your hands.
Note: If you cannot find the device version at the end of the FCC - ID, then it usually means that you have a device version 1.

Thank. I will be stitched.

One more question.
Three months ago, when the router was still working normally, I ran into a problem:
Put in the country settings: Russia.
The signal through the two walls to say the least lousy.
I read the forums, put the United States. And about the miracle of happiness there is no limit. The signal rolls over. The router in the apartment on the third floor, and I already catch Wi Fi from mailboxes on the first. I don’t even speak about those two impenetrable walls in the apartment.
Nooooooo !!!
There was a problem.
In the line of sight of the router is a motion sensor corridor lighting. And he then spontaneously turns on, then turns off, then stupidly burns for three hours. In short trouble.
I twist the antenna, it does not help.
I turn off the router, everything is fine, the motion sensor works like a clock. I turn on the problem again.
Assumed that TOO strong Wi Fi signal. Put in the settings again Russia.
Signal strength dropped. Catching barely barely, but the motion sensor works as it should.

Tell me, please, what other countries have a signal power better than Russia, but worse than the United States. Or can change other parameters?
I must say that the router can not be outweighed.

Rep: (360)
* oleg-smile,
For example, in the dd-wrt firmware it is possible to change the transmitter power in a numerical value, which facilitates the selection of the required parameters.
For example, I specifically reduced the power of the retransmitter so that my net would not be caught outside of my apartment.

Guys. DD-WRT flashed, in the Wireless settings only 2.4 GHz.
5Ghz nowhere.
Tell me where and how to enable this feature? + I guarantee :)

If you have revision v1.0, then it is single-range. Only 2.4.

revision v1.0, then it is single-band

v 2.0 is also single-band

Rep: (360)
* Martin_Devil,
I do not know what is written on the box.
Read the official specification for the router -TP-Link 1043 v2
Span one - 2.4 GHz

Guys. On DD-WRT, it is rather weak to distribute a waffle.
Power 30 dB, gain 0.
That's the way in the settings. Can it be strengthened without damaging the device?
And I read in the subject that, depending on the region, a different signal power. It is necessary to cover the building as much as possible, what do you advise?

Rep: (360)
* Martin_Devil,
Weak is it like?
With the parameter "TX Power" = 10 dBm, enough for a good coverage of an apartment of 40 m2 in an apartment building, the router is located in the corridor.

Rep: (183)
* -SunLion-,
WiFi (Basic Settings)
Transmitter power 30 dBm
0 dBi antenna gain
This is the default, did not change anything.
I need to cover 150 squares.

Rep: (360)
* Martin_Devil,
Put the router in the center of the room.
Apartment or private house?

Rep: (183)
* -SunLion-, apartment, neighbors the whole yard.
Exposed America. Oh, the whole yard is covered.

It is worth asking dvdrt, build April 2013, is it worth updating to the December build 2014 (last), it works fine, but at the rate it does not reach megabits, plus sometimes wy-fay falls off (rarely, I reboot once a month)
