Recovery is a built-in auxiliaryindependentoperating system with a simple menu interface.
It happens factory and modified (popular CWM and TWRP recovery of different developers).

Used to make changes to the main operating system, such as:
- cleaning of unnecessary programs,
- getting root rights,
- installation of new programs, decorations and much more.
- service functions - formatting microSD-cards, backup and restore the entire system as a whole
(kernel, system itself, user programs with settings and data (game saves), databases (settings, contacts, etc.).

Often used the so-called updates (updates, patches) - something this is akin to service packs for Windows.
Their size is from several hundred kilobytes to hundred megabytes. Sometimeswronglycalled firmware.

Here I am not. And the OTA update is commonly used, as is the Russian translation of "Update by air."

The term "firmware" is better to use in relation to the full installation of the system using a PC or laptop.
For our tablets, the original Android installer is the NVFlash program.
Installing the firmware is very similar to installing Windows -
also the main carrier (we have built-in 16GB NAND-flash) is divided into sections,
Each section is formatted, then the necessary information is copied from the images of these sections.
After the transfer and reboot, additional configuration, including a Google account,
appearance on the desktop screen - the tablet is ready for use.

And now about thathow to enter recovery.
Let's look at the picture and deal with the buttons.
Keys from left to right in the photo:

Volume up, volume down, on.

Hold the power button, followed by the button - then the volume up button (extreme).
We count to six - when the screen backlight appears - release the power button,
continue to count to ten, the line "update system ......" appears,
release the volume up button.
After another five seconds, the recovery menu appears.
If there are 2 lines in it - this is the factory recovery, if several - CWM.

1. Reset to factory settings - HARD RESET (02.27.2014)

This update is designed to reset the tablet to factory settings from factory recovery.
It works similarly to the "wipe data / factory reset" menu item in CWM recovery.
ATTENTION! All your installed programs, data, contacts, photos, etc. are erased.

1) Download the file:T37_hard_reset.zip(239.17 KB)

2) rename it toota_update.zipand write to the root of the microSD card.
3) turn off the tablet and insert the card into the tablet.
4) reboot into the factory recovery, that of two points (update and reboot).
This factory recovery only works with a file called ota_update.zip, it does not understand others.
5) volume change buttons, you can move between these two points.
when the cursor is on the "update" - press the power button.
6) the formatting of the / data and / cache sections will proceed.
7) the tablet will reboot itself.
Then everything, as you just brought a tablet from the store.

The first update may be useful for those who have a locked key or

But! All user data (installed programs, settings, save toys) are deleted.

1) Download the file
2) rename it toota_update.zipand write to the root of the microSD card.
3) Insert the card into the tablet.

7) Restart the tablet.

3. Installing CWM Recovery (03/02/2014)

This update is intended to install CWM recovery from factory recovery.

1) Download the file --->set_CWM_recovery.zip(6.4 MB)

2) rename it toota_update.zipand write to the root of the microSD card.
3) Insert the card into the tablet.
4) reboot into the recovery (how to do it - in the theoretical part).
5) when the cursor is on the "update" - press the power button.
6) will go overwriting the partition containing the recovery.
7) Restart the tablet.

AROMA file manager for CWM recovery (03/03/2014)

What it is?

The ability to control the file system of the tablet without loading the main OS.
It will be useful for modders / avid flash drivers and other technomaniacs.
For example, if the launcher was deleted by mistake, the system does not boot, write the deleted file to the card on the PC,
Insert it into the tablet and copy the file to the right place.
For inexperienced users, unfortunately, the relevance of the program decreases.
To use you must have installedCWM recovery.

How to use

Copy the zip file to the SD card, then reboot the device into recovery mode.
You must have CWM recovery installed.
Select install from SD card and select the AROMA Filemanager ZIP file. After downloading, file

Installing CWM Recovery via BASE Software Flash Kit (02_03_2014)

Drivers for the firmware must be installed

Installing the OLYMPIC bootlogo via the BASE firmware package (28_02_2014)

Drivers for firmware must be installed (instruction in .PDF -here).

On drive C: create the folder BASE, unzip the archive T37_BASE.RAR into it.
Unzip the file custom_OLYMPIC_bootlogo.rar into it. Take all the same there - in the repository.
Open the BASE folder, connect the off tablet with the "volume up" button pressed to the PC.
run write_OLYMPIC_bl.bat.
A black window will appear with the process of the firmware.
The bootloader will start flashing with a new picture.
That's what will be on the screen (only with other tsiferkami in file sizes).
This is my personal screenshot when installed on a T34 tablet.



Turn off the tablet by long pressing the power button.
Turn on the tablet. Admire the new, bright picture.



To roll back to the factory picture:
run write_factory_bl.bat
