How to turn on the backlight? so that the house burned back
Have you had time to buy G4C ??
At the expense of the backlight: If you mean the backlight of the touch buttons, then it is not known as in G4C, and in G4 such a function was not implemented

I will try to explain in more detail the difference betweenMTK6589TandMTK6582. Cpu parts are 5-10% more productiveMTK6589T- 1.5 GHz frequency + 1024 KiB L2 cache,MTK6582- 1.3 GHz frequency + 512 KiB L2 cache (but at the same time MTK6582 is a bit more economical). For gpu parts harder - yMTK6582- Mali-400MP2 500 MHz provides 9.0 GFlops,MTK6589T- PowerVR SGX544MP1 357 MHz provides 11.4 GFlops.

Mediatek test resultsMT6589Tin GFXBench:
T-Rex HD: 180 Frames
Egypt HD: 1402 Frames
FillRate: 514 MTexels / s
Triangle: 21 MTriangles / s

Mediatek test resultsMT6582in GFXBench:
T-Rex HD: 201 Frames
Egypt HD: 1800 Frames
FillRate: 511 MTexels / s
Triangle: 13 MTriangles / s

The results also depend on other factors (RAM, firmware quality, number of running applications, etc.)
GenerallyMTK6582looks a little more interesting. I have the Newman N2 itself, and the SoC Samsung Exynos 4 Quad 4412 with a Mali-400 MP4 440 MHz gives 15.84 GFlops, a screen with a resolution like JiaYu G4C - 1280x720, GTA Vice City at maximum settings gives 35 - 40 fps and is played great, but GTA San Andreas at maximum settings gives about 15 - 20 fps - almost a slideshow, 35 - 40 fps gives only at medium - low.
Even in some games, different cache for PowerVR and for Mali, and, most likely, the graphics on the same settings may differ slightly.
So rely on the fact that JiaYu G4C in heavy games will have to set the graphics settings to medium / low to play without brakes

Then I don’t quite understand what the race for the frequency, the number of cores and the actual processor performance is really necessary for if everything ultimately rests on the production of the graphics chip ..

In heavy games, powerful gpu is more important than powerful cpu, and in simple 2D arcade games it’s probably the opposite. SoC should be generally balanced so that cpu does not slow down the operation of gpu, and vice versa. The smaller the bottlenecks, the better. Excessively powerful gpu with a weak cpu will be idle, warm up more and increase production costs.
The race for frequency is needed more so that people marvel at the beautiful numbers in the benchmarks and run for a new smartphone. Although everyone needs his own smartphone - for someone, MTK 6575 will be enough, and for some, there is not enough snapdragon 800. But the system requirements of software / games are constantly growing, this must also be taken into account.

On the x86 architecture, take Intel for example - from the sandy bridge cpu generation to the ivy bridge - haswell - haswell refresh, the changes are minimal, because the performance is enough at the moment, they are trying to reduce power consumption. Another contribution is that their competitor AMD cannot do cpu, which in a single-threaded load would also be productive. In the ARM segment, there is still room for increasing productivity, and the competition is much higher, but manufacturers are hampered by high heat (it’s difficult to cool the SoC in smartphones, there is little space for cooling, smartphones are becoming thinner and thinner) and a big battery pack, all hope for a new technical process.

Here is a man in general, and proved that there is almost no difference. Or is in 10%. ;)
Good luck to everyone: yes2:

Yes, it seems, the screen in the G4C "finally is not the same!", That in Jiayu G4. Not to mention the first batch of G4 screen.

Be healthy!,Yes, it is very similar to G4 from the last installments, I have the same light, but only to fade black to violet - I don’t remember.

P.S. the Chinese have burst! Recently, G4C was added to the site, and now I went to check - a simple G4 is no longer on the list, but G4S appeared on the MT6592 octy-core. Tin ...
The marketing department is riveting new models, but they still cannot bring the G2F WCDMA to the mind and finally release it.

Somewhere I met that the G4 at JiaYu is the most popular model. It is quite predictable that it will be made on all new processors (is it curious whether the G5 will still make a version on MT6582 ... (not yet promised))
I agree that it would be good for them to bring their models to mind. As for me, I do not see the point of paying extra for the new MT6592. I do not play games. But LTE there as I understood it still did not implement. For most applications, MTK6589 or MT6582 is enough. They released a JiaYu model that has no complaints about the touch, battery and GPS, so this model is worth paying extra)) Well, let's see what the G4C will be ....

But LTE there as I understood it still did not implement.

Here is one of the downsides. A couple of years will be the main disadvantage for the Russian market. But if you consider that Jiayu makes phones for the domestic market and if it tunes phones to Chinese frequencies, then LTE will partially overlap. For example, on Megaphone can only work in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Perhaps even where there is Yota, as now Metafon and MTS are on YOT. But maybe not. MTS, if it refuses to work with Yot, will be available only in Moscow and its region. Well, and so on. In general, everything will work only on the LTE 2600 TDD frequency and not everywhere.

But the dates are not known. It seems that with LTE, China is even worse than in Russia. They do not even have a test state in any region.

Is there a version (type of advansed) 2G RAM 32 ROM? at 5682
ps / anyone have the opportunity to compare his screen with a screen G3S
discard someone pzhl screenshots of the program z-device test
pps / another question: who holds the battery for how much. (theoretically 6582 is more economical than 6589 so?).
