Work for the majority. Check your buffer for "eth0 no attached PHY", you may have to exchange the device as it is a hardware problem AFAIK. Follow this guide to get your buffer.
Google Play Store paid apps
Currently, the firmware shipped geekbuying (04/08/14) does not allow paid apps to be installed. This was reported and the new firmware will be released in the near future.
You can restore paid apps using Titanium Backup on the device, it seems that they work just fine that way. (Thanks roolmapool)
XBMC version root access
