In previous versions of iOS, the design could be changed almost everywhere, since all the graphics, including the elements of the application interface, were stored in .png files. In iOS 7, the design approach has been revised: according to some data, now most of the interface elements are created using code, therefore, to restore the look of iOS 6completely , most likely, will not succeed for a very long time.
For writing this guide, I was guided mainly by my own experience and posts in this topic. Some information (about 7Shaders) was takenfrom here. Also many thanks to everyone who has unsubscribed in this thread!

1. Application icons, cellular network indicators, Wi-Fi, LTE

Required tweaks:IconBundles (removes glitches with the form of icons when animating opening / closing applications), Winterboard (put together with the theme automatically)

Option 2 - Theme6on7
Differences: Option 1 restores the icons in the sizes that were in iOS 6, also allows you to selectively change the statusbar icons, including the network indicator. Option 2 - these are redrawn icons in the size of iOS 7, the network indicator from iOS 6 is attached (you cannot disable it without editing the theme itself). Also adds background pictures from iOS 6.
Installation: in the Cydia search, enter the name of the theme, install, open the WinterBoard and select the following (in the case of iOS 6 Complete):
iOS 6 stock icons - icons of standard applications
iOS 6 non-stock icons - icons of popular applications from the App Store and Cydia
iOS 6 status bar icons - network indicator, Wi-Fi, etc.
iOS 6 weather (Celcius) - Weather app icon
iOS 6 icon shape - the shape of icons from iOS 6 (slightly less than iOS 7)

Folder icons

After installing iOS 6 Complete, install tweakFoldericons , enter the mode of moving icons on the homescreen, click on the settings icon on any folder and select the folder icon as in iOS 6.

Notification Stickers on Icons

TweakClassicbadges . Install the tweak, mark the ClassicBadges theme in Winterboard and make Respring. Sometimes a bit buggy.

2. Shadows under the icons

Option 1 - TweakIconOmatic (in standard repo)
Option 2 - Tweak7Shaders (repo http://noeliel.com/repo )
Differences: Option 1 is more cumbersome, but allows you to adjust the size of the shadows, intensity, etc. Also has its own themes for Winterboard. However, there is information that the IconOmatic tweak sometimes causesmemory leak, because of which, over time, the device begins to slow down and disables all animations (at the time of writing the author of this post, this bug is also present). Use at your own risk.
Option 2 is lightweight (according to the author of tweak, “literally 5 lines of code”), but allows you to adjust only the intensity of the shadow. Recommended for use.

3. Shadows at signatures under icons.

Update: now it is enough to put the theme of iOS 6 Complete for iOS 7 and note iOS 6 bold icon labels in the winterboard.
ThemeClassicLabels (available in our repo) returns shadows for signatures, but does not make the font bold. If you need a bold font with shadows, then you need to replace the theme file by this instructions.
ClassicLabels is installed just like any other theme for Winterboard.

4. Statusbar

TweakSixbar ( http://repo.tm3dev.com) returns a translucent statusbar strip on iOS 7. In the tweak settings, select Enable - On.

5. Dock

TweakClassicDock . After installation and respring in the tweak settings, you can turn off Running Indicators (white bars under the icons of currently running applications), then enable everything else.

6. Battery charge indicator (optional)

TweakAlkaline with addon ClassicBattery , if you really need :) After installation, go to the tweak settings and select ClassicBattery.

7. Curves around the edges of the screen (optional)

TweakRoundScreenCorners . In the settings you can set the radius manually.

Installation Instructions

1) We unpack archives with applications on the computer
2) We throw the Notes.App and MobileCalculator.app folders in var / stash / _. NkIA6b / Applications on the device (instead of _.nkIA6b there may be something else, look carefully)
3) We throw the PrivateFramework2 folder in the System / Library on the device
4) Take ifunbox or iFile, go to var / stash / _. NkIA6b / Applications / Notes.App on the device and change the permissions of MobileNotes to 0775 (Owner and Group should have Read, Write, Execute, World - Read and Execute), Do the same with MobileCalculator.app/Calculator.
5) Respring with clearing the cache of icons (for example, through iCleaner), that's it! A new icon will appear. Original applications from iOS 7 also work.

Keyboard

1. TweakClassic keys returns native keyboard iOS 6 (best for today) screenshot

In iOS 7, in order to ensure compatibility with old applications, they made an optionUIUseLegacyUI which includes the “old” design in the style of iOS 6. The trick is that this mode can be enabled manually for any application to get the design of iOS 6. Unfortunately, many embedded iOS 7 applications with this option are buggy (visually or the functionality disappears) or do not work at all. Nevertheless, you can return the design of iOS 6 at least partially:

Cydia in the style of iOS 6

Applications from the App Store

The trick with UILegacyUI works with some applications from the App Store. You need to find a plist with the application settings in<application folder>/ Library / Preferences and add two lines to it, including the Legacy UI mode (see examples with side settings and settings above). LegacyUI also returns the “old” keyboard.
If an application with this option is buggy, you can search the Internet for .ipa-file of the old version (until the release of iOS 7, ie until September 2013), with a high probability there will be an “old” design and you will not need to enable the LegacyUI option.

Instant screen attenuation when locked

1. Put tweakHiddenSettings7 , we call it from the center control.
2. Go to Screen Fade Animation, set Backlight Duration to 0.00.
3. In the same menu in all subsequent paragraphs, we change Animation to Basic, Delay and Duration to 0.00.
Now the screen will turn on and off instantly, like on iOS 6.

Apple logo on boot / respring (ONLY for 4 / 4S!)

Unfortunately, when you turn on the Apple logo and in the first 10-15 seconds, the device cannot be changed yet. The way out is to create an animation that transforms the iOS 7 logo into the iOS 6 logo. To do this, you need to:
1. Respring logo: put the topicClassicboot (not to be confused with ClassicBoot BootLogo!), select it in WinterBoard, Respring.
2. Put tweaksanimate and animate fix for iOS 7.x.x in Cydia (standard repo).
3. Unpack the iOS 6 Fade 4S.zip archive into the Library / BootLogos folder on the device. A new folder iOS 6 Fade 4S should appear in BootLogos.

ClassicLabels (in standard repos) returns the shadows of the signatures under the icons on the homescreen.
For better effect, the author suggests enabling the Bold Text option, but this makes the font bold not only on the homescreen, but in all menus and everywhere else.
To get the view, 90% repeating iOS 6, I propose to do the following:

In this theme, the icons from iOS 6 are not just restored, but redrawn in the best quality, taking into account the changed sizes of the icons in iOS 7. It looks clearer and more pleasant than similar topics.
In 6on7, I don’t like only two icons: a calendar and a clock. I suggest two small add-ons to this topic: a more pleasant calendar icon in my opinion and a clock icon without an inscription in the middle.
Installation: upload the contents of the archive to the Library / Themes and in the winterboard select 6on7 Clock Addon and 6on7 Calendar Addon.

EDIT: Added a gray version of the calendar icon, which does not change the color and date format. This allows you to avoid a small glitch animation when you expand / collapse the calendar. Of course, it doesn’t look much compared to the original, but what to do:

By the way, the ClassicLockscreen tweak should be released in the near future - a complete copy of Lockscreen from iOS 6. It will cost $ 0.99, the author -Coolstar. Tweak has already been sent to the repo, it remains to wait quite a bit.

Updated the calendar icon for 6on7, now with a bold font in the date, as on iOS 6.
Install in the same way: Unpack in Library \ Themes and connect to Winterboard.
To avoid glitches with the animation of the opening / closing of the calendar, you need to put the IconBundles from Cydia.

Like Library / Themes is the usual hardlink, the original is in / var / stash / Themes. You can throw right there.
The themes for the winterboard are available on the default repositories in the sidium, you do not need to throw it anywhere, just install it. If the topic is laid out in the form of an archive - then throw on the way above.
