In addition to the optimized interface and improved performance, the following changes await you in the new firmware:
- We added our advanced Status Bar and Quick Settings, which are now more intuitive and have more options for tuning (and they look cool!). We also “cleaned” them - now you will see only those notifications that you really need.
- If you have a PlayStation4, then you will learn a new interface - we added the same smooth animation and live wallpaper on the lock screen and desktops.
“We also updated all of Sony’s original applications to the latest versions, adding various enhancements and add-ins to Messages, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, TrackID TV, Sony Select, Smart Social Camera, and others.
- Multimedia applications - WALKMAN, Album and Movies - also got a more intuitive interface, faster download speeds and other pleasant moments!
- And deserving wild popularity (more than 2 million downloads!), Our unique feature is “Xperia Themes”: Sony Select offers a choice of about 280 options in various styles for every taste! Download on health!
- Added compatibility with the SmartWear ecosystem - Added support for SmartBand and Lifelog applications that allow you to capture social, physical and entertainment activities and display them in the form of beautiful and clear graphs - it is convenient to record events, analyze what is happening and build ambitious plans for the future.
3.7. About the protective film.
How to cut the film
Option 1:To cut, use the template:Attached fileSony_Xperia_T2_Ultra template.pdf(25.44 KB)
Option 2:there is a little trick if there is no template or it does not suit. In order to cut exactly the size of the film, we need the layout of the phone, or rather its screen. Just make a photocopy of the phone, with a photocopy cut out the screen pattern. And already on it we cut out an exact copy of the film.

I recommend to take new sharp scissors, which will precisely cut off the necessary parts, and not “chew”. In the end result, it will save you from peeling off the film at the edges. How to hold the film? In time of the cuts, you need to hold the film with the No. 1 protective ball down. Then the film will not bully at the edges. Try to make coals of film as sharp as possible.
How to stick a film.
Option 1:Turn off the phone, pull the battery. Pour 100g of water into the broom top and add 0.5 cm3 of the cheapest shampoo (without nacre) and shake. You can measure or measure with a syringe. We wipe the display with this solution, sprinkling a little, slightly and turning the display on the ceiling surface so that the water flows out. We wipe the cotton cloth so that there is not a single speck of dust. Blow off if left. Split the film and immediately splash onto the adhesive layer with our solution. We apply the film to the display, and begin to align it geometrically with respect to the phone, starting to smooth out with a credit card, squeezing out our solution of water and shampoo. When squeezing the credit card, you can wrap it in a dry cloth to absorb the residue of the extruded water. The film will swim for a long time and you have time to level it. After the solution has been squeezed out, it can be seen at an angle of attachment to the light. We take a hairdryer from our wife or mother, and from a distance of 0.5 m we begin to dry (the air should not be very hot, only warm. After drying for 10 minutes, we see that the edges with white dots (badly stuck) are normal. We lay bodies). let it dry in a dry, warm place, for example, on a table. After an hour or 2, smooth the edges again, holding it with your finger so as not to move the film. The film will dry completely in 1-2 days. perfectly glued film without pimples and distortions. ate, but that so perfectly as I have no one succeeded. Oh, I forgot, after drying, the phone will be a little divorced from shampoo, but it is wiped and everything is OK.
Option 2:Turn on the hot water in the bathroom and close the door for 5 minutes, go in with the gadget turned off and the film, unpack it but do not remove anything yet, wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth that comes with the film. Then you wash it, make sure that there are no hairs, dust particles, crumbs and other things on the screen or on a rag, you wipe the screen with a wet (but not strong) rag. Glue the film carefully, because of the water it can be moved, but it is impossible to overdo it with water, otherwise you can “drown” the gadget. After the entire procedure, using a plastic card and a piece of dry cloth, expel water and bubbles from under the film - you need to collect water directly at the outlet so that it does not flow into the case. After that, remove the last layer of film and ready. Perhaps the appearance of divorces - in a day they will pass. I can only add that it is not necessary to wet the entire screen and punish some water in the center. And when applying the film, it will spread along the edges, but the effect is the same, but a lot of ways.

The topic often pops up questions about the T2 camera. Trying to compare it with mirrors, with cameras of other smartphones. Please, before posting your post about the camera, read the following. Posts of the type: "Smart camera", "Camera - a rare fu", "But on the Xxxxxx, the camera is better" -will be deleted!Questions, comments, comments, suggestions in comparison - in a personal.
So, about the camera.
3.9.1. Review from 3D-news
Original -here. The rear camera of the T2 Ultra, in comparison with the Z Ultra, has grown - from eight megapixels to the flagship thirteen - and has acquired an LED flash. The front camera is content with a 0.9 megapixel sensor. Despite the high sensitivity to light, it will be used only with sufficient light. Otherwise, the picture is covered with a generous layer of digital noise and becomes almost inaccessible for perception.
Appearance of the camera
Attached Image
The viewfinder of the camera does not differ from that in other Xperia smartphones, for example in Z1. The T2 Ultra has standard functions for digital cameras and settings, such as manual adjustment of exposure, white balance; geotagging and face recognition. In addition, in the camera application there are functions of augmented reality AR Effect and Info-eye. We already told about them in the Z1 review, therefore we will not repeat. Of course, the smartphone can shoot panoramas and record high-definition video.
Daylight. Left T2, right Z1.

When shooting well-lit scenes, the T2 Ultra behaves well. Photos turn out saturated, contrasting, with realistic colors. True, more or less decent (with a stretch) sharpness in the center of the frame drops significantly to the edges of the picture - they are frankly “soapy.” Automation copes well with the selection of optimal shooting parameters - there is no need to switch to manual mode.
Dusk. Left T2, right Z1.
Attached ImageAttached Image

If the light is not enough, the automatics will still try to “correctly” expose the photo, overstating the photosensitivity. As a result, digital noise is generated in the image, which the image processor is struggling hard with. Hence the drop in detail. However, it is within acceptable limits.
In the dark. Left T2, right Z1.

Perhaps the main remark to the work of the camera “Ti-tu” is about the thoughtfulness of the automatic focusing system in the dark. In low light conditions, the smartphone is not sharpened at the first attempt, but let us give it its due, it does so quite accurately. Marriage percentage minimized.

In more favorable conditions for shooting, the camera focuses on the object much faster. One run of the focusing element is enough - and the camera hits right on target. The minimum focusing distance of the rear camera is quite small - with the help of Xperia T2 Ultra you can take a kind of macro photography. In general, the gadget's camera is decent, although by the standards of these flagships it is rather weak - from 13 megapixels they usually expect a better result.
3.9.2. Test number 1: Check the quality of the image depending on the light conditions and the use of flash.
Shooting conditions
1. Mode: manual shooting, 13 Mpx.
2. Scene: no scene.
3. Distances to the photographed objects: 200 mm.

Subjectively: color rendition and quality are best manifested in natural light using a flash, however, one should not forget about the reflection and exposure of parts of a photo from a flash.
3.9.3. Test number 2: Check "macro" shooting:
Shooting conditions
1. Mode: manual shooting, 13 Mpx.
2. Scene: no scene.
3. Distances to the photographed objects: 70 mm.
4. Illumination:
4.1. Measurement in the direction of the light source: Fluorescent lighting: 273 lux.
4.2. Measurement in the direction of the photographed objects: Luminescent lighting: 40 lux (apparently, part of the world is blocked by the apparatus due to the smaller distance to the objects).
5. Environment: Office space, 8 meters to the windows, sunny day, shooting time 11:20, camera fixing - manual.
6. Flash: fill.

Subjectively: excellent quality for the camera of a smartphone with a fixed lens (that is, an unchangeable focal length). Thus, the "macro" is very conditional here, but the objects of millimeter magnitude (and even less) are quite clearly visible.
3.9.4. Test # 3: Comparison of Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and LG Optimus Vu cameras. Photos are presentedrazrivatel
IXBT camera overview
LG Optimus Vu is equipped with two digital camera modules. The way the front camera shoots, I liked it even more than that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, although perhaps it was just that the shooting conditions matched well. In any case, this 1.3-megapixel module makes very good shots and is quite suitable for organizing video calls, as well as for shooting yourself, in the background of attractions. Even the text was passed on to this module. This is all the more convenient to do, because you can control shooting using the hardware volume key on the side of the device. That is, the shutter release of the camera can be accomplished by pressing not only the virtual button on the screen, but also the side hardware key, even if it is not specifically dedicated. A very convenient solution, and perhaps even more convenient than embedding another extra button to control the camera. By the way, the camera was very sensitive and perfectly pulls the brightness even in conditions with limited lighting.
The main (rear) camera module is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor and a back light sensor (BSI). I will not strongly praise the quality of the images obtained with this camera - this is not so. But it’s not a bad name either - the LG Optimus Vu camera produces an average quality of shooting. I did not like the way in winter conditions, with an abundance of white color around, the automatic white balance sometimes fails, and the image goes into a blatant blue. I liked the sensitivity of the BSI-sensor in low light conditions.
Thanks to the built-in autofocus function, closely located objects, as well as text from paper or monitor screen, are perfectly captured by the camera, which is an important factor.
The LG Optimus Vu camera can shoot video in Full HD resolution, but when viewing such a video, black bars appear on the screen of the smartphone above and below because of the inconsistency of the aspect ratio. Therefore, the factory settings are initially set for shooting with a resolution of 14401080, and this video when viewing takes up exactly the entire screen area. The video is saved in MP4 (video: MPEG-4 AVC [email protected], sound: AAC-LC 156 kbps, 96.0 kHz, 2 channels).
The camera's application is rich in settings: you can attach geotags to pictures, turn on face and smile recognition, improve pictures using HDR technology, play with preset additional effects, switch the camera to burst mode, and even control voice shooting: it’s easy to take a picture utter "chiz".

Vu
What can I say. Whether you have an unsuccessful photo with Vu turned out, or I reacted biasedly, but the only thing I don’t like in the photo from T2 is the excess yellow (and then, I don’t know the shooting conditions - lighting, for example). sections of photos near. Strongly did not choose - that's what happened (on the left side of Vu, on the right side, respectively, T2)
Comparison

In my opinion, as I said above, Sony clearly benefits in terms of quality, clarity and contrast. I will not speak about color rendering, because the photo from Vu is made more vertically, so the flash highlighted the subject more clearly - this is clearly seen on the fragment with the Sony inscription (in the photo from Vu, the reflected light returned to the lens, and in the photo with T2 - went aside). Once again, I compared it not for an argument, but simply for the sake of sporting interest. I showed these pieces to three different people - the opinion is unequivocal - the right fragments are better. Left never chose)

3.9.6.1. Advice from Paul Steele

Seven tips from a professional photographer taking pictures on a smartphone
Attached Image
We recently met with renowned photographer Paul Steele and asked for some important tips that would help our users get the most out of their camera on Sony Xperia smartphones. Let's look at these valuable tips and, of course, great photos.
Tip 1 - Reflections
Look for reflections. Reflections can turn what you find boring into an interesting picture. Use not only the reflections in the windows or in the waters of the lake, try to look in the puddles on the asphalt after the rain or catch a reflection in someone's glasses.
Attached Image
Tip 2 - Angles
Be creative and try unusual angles. Lie on the floor or point the camera up. You will be amazed how your picture will change if you just sit down or get down on your knees.
Attached Image
Tip 3 - Lines
Look carefully around and look for patterns and lines — they can be made up of buildings, a landscape, or people. By combining unusual angles with sharp, sharp lines, you can get a great shot.
Attached ImageAttached Image
Tip 4 - Light
Scenes with poor lighting can be difficult to shoot, so try using the light from the windows - often this gives the photo a feeling of fantastic, mysterious. Try to focus on the dark areas of the subject; this technique will automatically improve the bright areas of the picture (focusing on the bright areas will make the darker elements even darker, because the camera is trying to correct the excessive (over-) exposure of the bright areas.
Attached Image
Tip 5 - Focus
Try moving the focus point to another area of the image. Usually when photographing animals you want to focus on the eyes. But look at this photo, it focuses on the dog's nose, and not on the eyes, it gives the image attractiveness and prettiness, and it even seems that you can hear the dog sniffing. The same technique is effective for shooting flowers: try not to focus on the closest flower, but choose the next one - away; using Xperia, this can be done by setting the manual focus mode in the camera settings, and then simply pointing the object that should be in focus with a finger on the screen.
Attached Image
Tip 6 - Composition
Move the main subject to the edge instead of placing it in the center of the frame. This will make the photo more interesting, and you will force the viewer to look at the photo completely, showing, for example, that not only the boat exists, but something around it. Approaching the composition creatively, you will get brighter pictures and be able to tell the whole story - it is much better than you would just show something in the center of the frame.
Attached Image
Tip 7 - Objects
Look around: old things, signs, houses, doors, toys, flowers and faded leaves - all this can be an idea for great photography. No need to go far - just look carefully at the things around you.

Start taking pictures on your smartphone correctly

The tips that you read below will suit everyone, absolutely everyone. Because it does not fotka on a smartphone, just lazy. Well, the man who could not keep up with new technologies and stayed with a mobile phone of the 90s. Guys, nobody condemns you. Sometimes it is interesting to me to photograph a person with an old telephone, pictures are very atmospheric. Well, I myself love to click on your iPhone, see pictures from my smartphone.
Tip 1:To avoid any distortion of the picture, never use Zoom on the camera of the smartphone. Any slightest use of the approximation can lead to a global deterioration in picture quality. If you want to take a picture of an object on a smartphone, then it would be advisable to get closer to it. Well, if there is no way to get closer, take a picture without a zoom, in the end, you can simply crop and cut out the fragment that is important to us. Well, if the object is closer to you, then you can get a better detail of the object in the picture.
Tip 2:This item, in fact, is not mandatory, but it is worth mentioning. You need to follow the lens on your smartphone. Do not scratch, although it is not quite important, in the future I plan to conduct some experiment, just for the "clean". Well, in general, follow the smartphone. Any dust can play a bad joke, it's a phone.
Tip 3:Do not neglect multiple frames. Take a picture on the smartphone several times the object you need. The fact is that each time you press the shutter button, you can get fundamentally differently exposed frames. Of the few, choosing the best is easier than accepting the result that came out. Oh, he is not always perfect, trust me!
Tip 4:The whole problem of smartphones is that it shoots poorly in low light conditions. Therefore it is worth considering this moment. Of course, if you go to the museum, but you will need to take care of the flash, though it is not quite perfect, but still. Well, with super bright sun and in the shade, you will not get well-exposed images. That is the physics of the device.
Tip 5:The most important advice, go to the settings and set all the parameters to the highest. So what if it takes up more space, but the quality will be better. What is important today? Saving physical space on a smartphone or the quality of your shot?
Tip 6:Many ignore the various creative modes. But in vain, you are an amateur or not, just want to get an interesting snapshot. So what's the problem? Find these modes and take pictures on your smartphone as you please. For example, at night you need to take a picture in the “night shooting” mode, which will allow you to get a better shot of the image, while increasing the ISO value.
Tip 7:Well, if you want to join the circle of photo lovers with your smartphone, then feel free to set up a photoshop, light-room and edit pictures as you like. Often, even with the worst quality picture, you can squeeze the maximum creative work. It all depends on the desire, skills and abilities.
Tip 8:Final advice can only be in practice, practice and practice again. Of course, provided that you want to learn how to photograph on a smartphone is better than it is at the moment. Everything is possible. Also, you should take an interest in the literature on the topic, where you can understand the principle of operation of technology, understand what is the exposure, composition, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and much more. You understand that no most expensive camera can turn you into a professional photographer, so go ahead. Home learning, patience and practice. And not to be unfounded, I propose to view a few photos that were taken on a smartphone.

How to photograph a smartphone? How to make high-quality shooting smartphone?

In recent years, more and more people, when buying a smartphone, try to choose models with a good camera in order to be able to use it also as a camera. Indeed, modern mobile phones are so advanced that with a high-quality camera, now everyone can, using them, take interesting moments of life to impress with photos and videos of their relatives, friends and acquaintances.
However, the majority of smartphone users do not think about how to photograph properly in order to get high-quality images and as a result their “screenshots” are terrible. Many people believe that the quality of photos taken by a smartphone depends only on the number of megapixels of the camera installed on it. They are sure that the more megapixels, the higher the quality of photos. In fact, this is not entirely true.
The number of megapixels indicates how large a photo can be printed without causing damage to its quality. For example, if your smartphone has a 2 megapixel camera, then you can print a high-quality photo with a size of only 6x4 cm, and having a smartphone with a 16 megapixel camera you can print a sufficiently large photo with a size of 8x11cm. The number of megapixels is not what the quality of images depends on.
For comparison: the flagship HTC smartphones are equipped with a 16MP camera, Sony and Nokia have a 12 megapixel camera, while the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 have only 8 megapixel camera. Meanwhile, we all know that the brightest and sharpest images are obtained on Apple and Samsung smartphones, while photos taken by the latest HTC smartphones from Sony, Sony and Nokia have a color imbalance and look a bit strange. Therefore, it is not yet possible to consider them in line with the images received by the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 equipped with an 8Mp camera
The quality of photos taken by a smartphone depends on a number of factors, among which the perfection of the image sensor, the number of lenses and the number of apertures have a decisive role. Therefore, how good the camera is can not be determined only by the number of megapixels. To find out, you need to take a few pictures and look at what happened.
To get a high-quality picture you need to properly configure the camera. These settings include white balance, exposure, focus and ISO. However, smart phones are called “smart” phones because they are able to determine the correct settings themselves and the user no longer needs to worry about it. Nevertheless, there are several rules that will help to significantly improve the quality of photos taken by a smartphone:
1. In modern smartphones, when photographing, it is better not to use a digital ZOOM. The maximum shooting angle improves sharpness and helps build composition. The more ZOOM, the greater the likelihood that camera shake will affect the quality of photos. If you want to take a picture of something closer, better go to him. The closer the object, the better the picture. Close-up shots are always more interesting.
2. Light is the key to everything. Avoid contamination of the camera lens and try not to scratch it, but always wipe it with a soft, clean cloth before taking pictures. Normal shots can only be obtained with good lighting, so interesting and meaningful photo shoots are best done during the day outside. However, it should not allow direct light on the faces of people. This can create harsh shadows or the illusion of strabismus. When direct sunlight does not fall on the face, the pictures show natural beauty.
If the light source is in front of the lens, do not forget to turn on HDR mode. The task of the HDR technology is to bring the frame as close as possible to the kind in which it is perceived in reality by the human eye. Therefore, it is indispensable when shooting scenes where bright areas are combined with deep shadows.
When photographing, try to avoid sudden light transitions, and when shooting portraits it is best to choose a place by the window where ambient light falls from the street. This will give the face a pleasant softness and naturalness, and to build the desired composition, take several pictures at once. Making a series of photos, you can choose the highest quality among them.
3. Use the power of the camera to the maximum. Do not save on the size of the photo if you want to get the highest quality pictures. Set "image quality" and "resolution" to the highest parameters. There are quite a few functions in the camera settings of smartphones, do not forget to use them. For example, if you want to shoot a moving object, in the settings, set the "sport mode", which will allow you to avoid a blurred picture. And for shooting in a dark place, it is better to turn on the "night mode" to increase the shutter speed. The more you experiment with the settings, the better you will understand how the camera behaves and the better your photos will turn out.
4. Edit photos using applications. To date, the choice of applications for camera smartphones is so great that it is impossible to list them in one article. But they are all designed to get a quality result. Experiment with photo editing applications and shoot your camera more often, honing your skills.

1. Battery.
2. Screen.
3. Camera.
4. OS and Software.
5. Communications (GSM, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth ...)
6. Memory.
7. Execution (material, build quality, connectors, memory cards ...)
I'll start with myself, as an example:
Review Danas7777
The smartphone is already six months.
1. Battery.Just 5 out of 5 points. No complaints. I use the device very actively, turned off, perhaps, only Bluetooth. Surfing, calls, books, games ... exactly a day (about 9-10 hours) even with constant use of GPS (because of the specifics of the work, a special program is installed in the background - it eats twice as much screen size). In the weekend mode - a day or two, depending on the intensity of use.
2. Screen.Pleasant color range for me, responsive, and size was one of the main criteria when choosing.
3. Camera.
3.1. Camera (photo mode). Personally, I'm fine. And the pictures themselves, and applications to the camera delight. There are questions to shootings in the twilight and darkness (although some of them are solved by the settings), but, from my point of view, it is impossible to demand twilight-night super-pictures from even a non-flagship smartphone.
3.2. Camera (video mode).Focusing in video mode was lost several times during the shooting process and was not restored until the shooting was restarted.
4. OS and Software. It is very pleased with the shell. One of the few pre-installed shells that allows applications to create folders. Like the Smart Connect app. Once configured and all connections are handled by themselves. The keyboard sometimes hung for a couple of seconds. Now, on Android 5.0, the problem would LIKE be gone. I consider (albeit an insignificant) minus a rather laborious (closed) access to obtaining root-rights, etc.
5. Communication. There are no complaints about the radio module - the connection is stable and of high quality. Periodically, even at work I turn off Wi-Fi, because after 4G it turns out much faster. The Wi-Fi receiver itself is sensitive - it takes well even a weak signal, it does not “fall off”. I have an MTS operator and the coverage of 4G does not grieve - in the city and suburb there is a steady signal everywhere.
6. Memory.
6.1. RAM.One gigabyte is really not enough. However, about 70 third-party programs are currently installed, although the heaviest are about two hundred megabytes (of course, this is without a cache), and despite the fact that about 20 percent of them are constantly hanging in the background, slowdowns are noticeable only after exiting games within 30-40 seconds. Really faced with a lack of memory when he put a few heavy games (Heroes III HD, for example). The situation with lags noticeably improved on LolliPop'e.
6.2. Sd cardIt is worth Sonya 32 GB. It was bought along with the phone, that is, it has been working for half a year without any complaints.
7. Execution. There are no problems with the front side, but the back cover, even with constant use of the case, was covered with micro-scratches (apparently due to dust between the gadget and the case). The front grille and microphone quickly clogged. The ends, caps are normal. The protective glass of the main camera was also pretty worn out, but it doesn’t seem to affect the quality of the pictures (IMHO). Connectors, here - I was pleased with the presence of OTG (I use periodically a mouse and a flash drive). USB and audio jacks are very widely used - I often pull, and constantly on a break (smartphone in my jacket pocket - the wire from the headphones is constantly in motion and bent in all planes, the power cord (as well as OTG) is also not very stationary), however so far no problems pah-pah-pah.
8. Android 5.0 Lollipop. I did not wait for the Russian candy. I installed the same Taiwanese (details in Firmware ). Filled all the same software that was previously. I will not throw screens - they are already full. Five really much faster than the whale. Of the minuses, only two have noticed so far - in the list of running applications, the "close all" button somehow moved upward, which is less convenient (but visually running applications appear more fun) and there is no memory indicator in the settings-application section. As for material design, it’s still controversial - I like something, something doesn’t (no more in a positive way), themes help - while I adjust the visual for myself. The settings menu has changed slightly (for me, it has become prettier and more comfortable, purely subjective). I liked the notifications on the lock screen - you turn on the body and immediately see what to pay attention to. There was a reset point when you press and hold the shutdown button.
And finally, my opinion. If the choice again became like six months ago - taking into account the experience of use, I would again take the T2 Ultra LTE. The device is worth the money.Danas7777
Gufaka Review
1. Akum is good
2. Screen also
3. Camera on top three (defocus when shooting video)
4. OS and Soft are also a triple (stupid for the simplest operations)
5. Wi-Fi standards, 5 GHz network sees, but sometimes also podlagivaet, 4 points
6. memory - a triple, 2 times the data from the flash drive, the built-in was lost
7. execution of a triple (scratches immediately, prints)

overall rating 3 with pennies (5 points)

3.12. Poll results.
3.12.1. Are you satisfied with the camera of your smartphone?
3.12.1.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.1.2. Findings.
The survey clearly shows that the vast majority of users of the phablet are satisfied with the quality of the camera - more than 93%, while almost a third of them are completely satisfied with it, and the rest are satisfied, but they believe that it could be better. Of the 31 who took part in the survey, only two are not happy with the camera. I can assume either the demands raised to the camera of the smartphone (there were attempts to compare it with the DSLR, unwillingness to understand that the lack of a fully-functional lens also imposes its own prints) or (nothing personal) are not the most direct hands.
Conclusion: The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra camera is quite decent, but the person always seeks and wants more.
3.12.2. Are you satisfied with the pre-launcher?
3.12.2.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.2.2. Findings.
So, apparently, the launcher of only one of the respondents is not satisfied (it was as much as 3%). Most (almost 74%) of the rest are quite pleased with Sony's launcher. Equally (more than 11%) divided those who always use third-party launchers for one reason or another, and those who just love to constantly change the design.
Conclusion: Sony has done enough for the non-flagship smartphone launcher. There are downsides, but not critical enough to rush in search of a replacement.
3.12.3. Android 5.0.2.
3.12.3.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.3.2 Conclusions.
So, what are the conclusions? And the conclusions are simple.
1. Most of the people (77%) are quite satisfied with the new Material Design interface, and more than half (53%) of the respondents found it pretty for themselves.
2. Speed. Here it is more difficult - the majority (76%) either did not notice the difference (41%), or thinks that the Candy is faster (35%). However, the method of flashing is not considered here. Based on my personal experience, I can say that there are fewer complaints about performance among those who put the update through Flashtool with loss of data and settings.
3. The majority (71%) are waiting for the upgrade to 5.1, where, in theory, all the jambs and bugs will be eliminated. Absolutely the system does not suit anyone. 30% either have already rolled back (12%), or are thinking (18%).
4. Ergonomic. More than half (59%) believe that some innovations have become better, and the rest have become less convenient. At the same time 29% found the system more convenient Kitkat. Thus, "the patient is more alive than dead," but, again, all hopes of renewal.
General conclusion. In the overall standings, about a little less than a third (29%) of the respondents are completely satisfied with the system, but at the same time everyone is either waiting for the new system, or they want to roll back to the old one. From which it follows that if you have not yet updated to 5.0.2 and are hesitant in making a decision, then it makes sense to wait for the update to 5.1.0 in order not to have hemorrhoids with a rollback, if you suddenly do not like it. Then read the reviews and only then make a decision.
Naturally, due to the small number of voters, there are certain errors that should be kept in mind.
3.12.4. Battery operation on Android 5.0.2.
3.12.4.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.4.2. Findings.
If you look at the survey results, then, strictly speaking, the conclusions are simple.
1. 41 percent of users are confident that the smartphone began to work longer, and 50 - that as well. That is, at least - not worse.
2. The minimum power consumption mode: The overwhelming majority (91%) declares that the smartphone has been working longer than a day, almost 70% of them say that it takes much longer.
3. Maximum power consumption mode: Almost all users fluctuate in the area of the day - a third considers it less, a third - more, and a third - that the battery supports the life of the smartphone for about a day.
4. The mode of "cruising" power consumption: Exactly half of the users use the phone for much more than a day without recharging, and, still a third, a little more than a day. The rest are more or less evenly divided at the time from “day” to “just enough for a day”, which means that the “cruise mode” is different for everyone.
Summarizing, we can say that a smartphone with a sufficiently powerful processor and a huge screen for a phone has an excellent battery and the transition from Kitkat to Lolipop has not only not worsened, but, in the opinion of 41 percent of the respondents, has also improved the situation.
3.12.5. Do you have any “plugging” and / or poor sound quality of a regular player?
3.12.5.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.5.2. Findings.
Based on the survey, we can draw the following conclusions:
1. The problem of "plugging" was on both firmwares - both on 4.4.3 and 5.0.2.
2. After switching to Android 5.0.2, the number of users complaining about the “plugging” of a regular player has quadrupled, although a third of those who use this version of the firmware do not experience problems with the player.
3. To solve the problem in any way, in practice, failed. Only one person (and this, for reference, I) who have the “plugs” disappeared when switching to a third-party player and using its advanced settings. that is, it is not an indicator.
In general, I personally, I can assume that the matter is lack of memory (for example, background applications, performing their actions, "eat off" a piece of memory from the player, causing it to "shut up" for a while from surprise). It remains only to wait for Version 5.1 - it is possible that this problem will be fixed there.
3.12.6. We share impressions about Android 5.1.
3.12.6.1. Results.
Attached Image
3.12.6.2. Findings.
1. Performance. More than 70% of users believe that the smartphone began to work faster, and about 15 percent did not notice the changes. The remaining 15 percent for the most part either have not yet been updated or are not collected; less than five percent of them say that the phone has become slower to work.
2. Power consumption. Here, half of them are sure that there are no changes, the rest are roughly equally divided among those who are confident in increasing the battery life of the gadget and those who are sure of the opposite.
3. Interface. More than half of users are satisfied with the changes in the system interface; among the rest, the overwhelming majority of changes were not noticed. The rest of the users are either not yet updated or are not going to; less than five percent of them claim that the interface has become worse.
4. Overall impression. Again, more than half of smartphone owners recommend upgrading. A quarter is left to choose. Less than 10 percent strongly advise against updating. Less than five percent generally believe that Android 4.4.3 is better. The rest are not updated, or are not collected.
Thus, about half of the owners are satisfied with the changes that have come with the new system. For a quarter - neither cold nor hot. About 5-10 percent are completely dissatisfied with the new system and do not recommend updating.
From myself I will add that to get all the features of Android Lollipop 5.1, I would recommend to install the update using Flashtool with a full wipe.
3.13. Disassembly of the phone.Videofrompropisi
3.14. About problems with contacts (with a Google account) when upgrading to Android 5.1.1.
After upgrading to the latest firmware (Android 5.1.1), some users had problems adding new contacts to the phone book:
Andrew_alf @ 11/23/2015, 1:27 PM *
When you try to add a contact, it says that there are no accounts, but really Google account is there, contacts get the phone from it during synchronization (Google contacts are, the new one is not added)
Attempt to solve the problem by Flashing in different ways did not succeed. However, a little later, the reason and, accordingly, solutions were found:
The phone was used with two sims, but at some point I rearranged the first SIM card in a long-playing phone, and in T2 only the second SIM card for the Internet remained, actually from that moment the problem with adding contacts was discovered. After rearranging the sim card from the second slot into the first one, everything worked.
and
Guys, the problem with contacts seems to be decided after the removal of programs: Twitter, Periscope, Quick PDF. How to remove them all worked.
3.15. Revision GPS antennas and a cover with a magnet, as well as a list of system applications that can be removed. thank Jekanf

Finally sane DualSIM !!! Where was Sonya before?

Although on the other hand, if you compare it with what I have now (TCL Hero N3 / Alcatel One Touch Hero), then:
frequencies: 1 point in favor of Sony for LTE
processor: 2 points in favor of Sony for Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928 + Adreno 306)
RAM memory: 2 points for Alcatel (2 GB vs. 1 GB for Sony)
microSD slot: score in favor of Sony (in Alcatel there is only a single-slot slot)
dimensions: equality (Sony is already, but wider and longer), weight 172 versus 177
camera: 1 point in favor of Sony (Sony has a better software than the camera)
screen: 1 point in favor of Alcatel for FullHD
Battery: 1 point to Alcatel (3400 mAh vs. 3000 mAh)
OTG: 1 point to Alcatel
NFC: Sony score 1
Support and Android: Sony score 1 for Android 4.3 (and almost 100% upgrade to 4.4). With Alcatel is not yet clear (the driver even at 4.3 Media Library does not give)

Yes, I also read today. Of course, I would like a lower price, but in principle it is quite loyal to the buyer.)

Everything in it is good, only 1GB of RAM is disturbing.
Added: I think it will not be enough

Damn, why it was impossible to put a FullHD display in it? For me, would be just the perfect machine.

They write that in India and the UAE will appear in March.
Apparently, in Russia and Europe, it is not worth waiting for before April ...

But the pictures and videos from the presentation in Malaysia.
http: //www.soyacincau..art-phone-with-4g-lte/

In the new samples, there is already Notification Led, which is good news, but the plastic of the back panel is glossy (in my opinion, chances)
Deliveries to Malaysia promise only in April - apparently, they will launch in different regions at different times, but the price range is indicated as quite attractive - 270-320 euros.

Another interesting fact: the price of M2 in Europe is declared at 290 euros, with approximately comparable characteristics.
Against the background of the fact that Z Ultra can now be bought for about 420, I would expect prices around 350 euros.
