Description:
Lifecap is an audio recorder in your smartphone. The application uses an internal cache to store the audio recording of the last 24 hours that have happened to you. Imagine that your memory is perfect - now you have it in your pocket!

* The cache size for loop recording depends on the amount of free memory on the flash card.

shadrmg it would be great to screw the setting with a choice of 5/10/20 minutes, sometimes 5 minutes is not enough, for the software - +

Oh, yes, another setting directory to save :-)

In the latest Samsung models, two microphones, if the program could use the top one for recording, and the bottom one did not block, it would be very cool.
and of course the choice of the recording interval would not hurt.

during calls does not block the microphone hope?

Pro two microphones are a great idea! Thank! During a normal call, it is not, but if the call, for example, via Skype, the other party simply will not hear you (It is planned to add processing of such moments.

waiting for updates, the idea of the program is good!

Rep: (11)
Good idea! I will not bet, but I'll give you a couple of points.
It is necessary to make not only a gap of 5-20 minutes, but also to make the possibility of cyclic rewriting into a given folder, as well as the ability to set the amount of disk space for storing records, above which the oldest track will be erased. In general, it was like in the DVR. And then it will be a full-fledged application.

You can also make an alert that the place is exhausted, start a cyclic overwrite ??? You can screw the reset of audio files in the cloud or on e-mail.

Creative success to the author!

Rep: (4)
Strenger Thank! I will try! :)

giperbol Unfortunately, not everything is so simple. Using flash memory and audio compression with existing codecs in 24-hour mode doesn’t have the best effect on battery consumption: (I've been working on this problem for a long time and I hope to find / develop an acceptable solution in the future. Of course, the buffer limit of 5 minutes limits options for use, but such an opportunity may be useful :) try, at worst - you will not lose anything :) Thank you :)

Galaxy Note II received a call while recording. The conversation is also recorded.

Rep: (5)
The idea is simply gorgeous, to complete the above-described improvements and it will be a vital thing! Good luck.

Rep: (4)
ensign, Yes, on my Galaxy 3 it works the same. But, unfortunately, it is impossible to guarantee that the same will happen on all other devices - this depends on the implementation of audio drivers.

sidius Thank! :)

When you try to play a recording crashes with an error, mtk6575. And what folder does it write to?

Rep: (136)
And please make the LED flashing off. And then I'm confused all the time, it seems that the message is hanging unread, or some important notice))

Rep: (4)
yussuf, Thanks for the bug report! Try today's update (0.4), it will almost certainly work. I would be grateful if you unsubscribe about the result

temkto To turn off notifications, you must go to Settings ->Application Manager ->Lifecap ->and uncheck "Show notifications". Did you put it there yourself? :)

Rep: (18)
Version 04 does not crash, but does not play, writes "error", so which folder records are saved? If so, then you can listen to third-party programs, the main thing is to keep it normal.
P.s. Updated from the market, maybe you had to delete the old version first?

Rep: (4)
yussuf, I'm afraid this means that you cannot play the necessary file on your device.

no, I did not put anything. And I'm not talking about the program icon in the status bar, I'm talking about flashing the LED. But, by the way, he himself sometimes disappears and at such moments the recording does not go. I mean, if you click "save", it saves the file with silence, although I was noisy. But when you restart the program and the LED flashes again, then everything is fine.

P. S. It is not true that the battery does not eat. Eats more like! With this program, I have a third less time for living!

Rep: (4)
temkto It seems you are using version 0.1. But no, she didn’t eat the battery like that :) Try to update the program and more carefully analyze the power consumption of your phone

Rep: (1593)
The author, on mtk6575 does not play the record, the kernel can not only collect, but also rewrite anything, in fact, how and in what do you write the sound?

Rep: (4)
Zormax, Be patient :) Probably in the future, even on such a phone, playback will work :)

JIAYU G2 (MTK6575) error when playing "saved" files. Although, I personally doubt that somewhere something is saved - I rummaged through memory and a flash drive - there are no saved files anywhere.
The notification LED flashes while the program is running. It seems to me that the program is not talking to the microphone, but to the LED port.

Rep: (4)
kuliks :) your doubts are very subjective. I am working on a repro problem with MTK6575
